Today we launched PSU.com (http://www.psu.com/) Version 2, after nearly 6 months of hard work!
The new site features,
A wider aspect layout (1024px)
All new layout of homepage and sub-pages.
New features including a 'thumbs up/thumbs down' system
Tabbed recent articles on the homepage.
Videos and Images commenting and rating sytstem.
View HD videos at full high resolution and download them.
A PSU RSS Feed (http://www.psu.com/psu.rss).We have also split the media section into separate images (http://www.psu.com/screenshotsovrvw.php) and video (http://www.psu.com/videosovrvw.php) sections as one media section for everything was not very intuitive.
We have also added Dark and Light background options for the article page, to appeal to those who like darker sites. Just click the small 'A' icons in the top right of the article page or set a particular color theme as a preference under my preferences (http://www.psu.com/editpref.php).
The 'thumbs up/thumbs down' system allows members to 'vote' for their favorite articles. Articles which are popular are then featured in the Todays Most Thumbs Up (http://www.psu.com/article_tabs_all.php?thumbups=day&platform=) section and on their respective featured overview pages 'most popular sections'.
The website also features a number of new pages including:
Members Overview (http://www.psu.com/members.php) - Includes a Memberlist, a Quick Search and Featured Members.
Features Overview (http://www.psu.com/features.php) - Lists Interviews, Podcasts and Editorials.
