There is not a repeating texture in the whole game. The player modles look good at a distance but when grabbed by a doped up homeless guy their faces a bit blurred. Also the enviroments are really creepy.

Sound: 80/100
Other than the cut scenes there really isn't much audio. The baddies really dont say much. Just things like "[spoiler:98b2b95ba0]F*!^[/spoiler:98b2b95ba0] him up!!!" and "Get Him!"

Story/Value: 95/100
This game has got one of the best murder horror stories yet in a game. Lots of twists and turns and keeps you guessing on what to expect in the end.

Xbox Live: 80/100
If you are looking for getting Achievment points for your Gamer Card, this game is easy enough to get them all in about 5 days. If you are a pro gamer maybe 1 full day.

Overall: 85.75/100
This game is definitly a pick up and at least try. It should appeal to all gamers and scare the hell out of you if you are alone. Although you must give it a little. The begining is a little slow and takes about an hour before you get really freaked out. i disagree with you on a couple things, and since you played it at my house, and the fact that i played it more than you did, i feel that i am warranted in doing so.
1) the sound definately diserves higher than an 80, your review saying that there isnt much audio is completely off basis. the scariest part of the game is the audio, you can always hear people rustling around, and you never know where they are, but you can hear em and then BAM they are in your face. All in all, id say that the sound heightens the anxiety.
2) your acheivement value score is also underrated, you CANNOT get all the points in a matter of days, for one, you have to beat the game on all difficulties, which right there would take you a week. Plus, all the hidden xbox 360s and birds and metal pieces have to be found...NOT easy'
3) the graphics, you are right about the nin repeating textures, however you seem to think that the blurred faces of the doped up guys is a bad thing, if you were being grabbed like that, things would be blurred, and that is what they did that for, the same reason that things get blurred in pgr3 when you are looking around, or in pdz when you change your aim quickly, its to add effect. the only gripe i have in the graphics of this game is that all the levels are very similar, all grungy and stuff, they look beautiful tho

all in all Id give this game a 95/100, one of the best games ive ever played, scared the crap outta me and nousemercenary, i remember him screaming like a little girl a few time (HAHA)

i agree nouse4aname68 i think this game is one of the best games around at the moment for the x360. the atmosphere that the game creates is incredible. i would also rate this game around 95 percent.

I think thats the only game to buy for the X360, the others are just average. None of the are next-gen in my opinion :twisted:

Yeah...Condemed and Call of Duty 2 are the only titles worth actaully buying. All the other games....other than PGR3, you can beat and win all the acheiments in a few days. Only worth renting. Come to think of it, Condemed my friend and I beat in like two days. It is really fun though. It is a definite buy ro rent though.

Yeah...Condemed and Call of Duty 2 are the only titles worth actaully buying. All the other games....other than PGR3, you can beat and win all the acheiments in a few days. Only worth renting. Come to think of it, Condemed my friend and I beat in like two days. It is really fun though. It is a definite buy ro rent though.

Quake 4 has extreme framerate issues

PDZ is mediocre all the way around

NFS:MW might be worth it, but I've HEARD it's not a huge jump over the xbox either.

Overall standards for pc yes mediocre but then it is on console so try to compare it to games of the same format.
