The first PSP bundle I found is on Ebgames.com for 399.99 right now and the shipping date is on the 29th of March. This is what it reads.

so 400 dollars eh? ok, lets see if ts a good deal or not.

each game is $60 so $180 for 3 games
the PSP is $185
and one accessory which has to be $35 since therers $35 left.

$180+$185+$35= $400.00

It seems even if you buy everything separately it will equal the same amount. I wouldn’t get this deal because I would rather go to the store and buy everything separately than get this deal.

The problem is that almost none of the launch systems will be sold outside of bundles. This happens with all system launches.

u should wait until more games are up on shelves since u dont exactly know that the games launched with the PSP are any good.....

Siren, who did you hear this from? I currently put $20 down at my local EBgames store and that is for the system only and not the bundle, but I have the choice between the bundle and the system itself they said. So i'm going to wait and see how much the bundle will be and if it goes cheaper i will buy the bundle. They said any 3 games I want for the launch and an accessory. Wonder what type of accessory i can choose?

all the posts and information I have gathered have said that for the first shipment it will be only bundles, and as for what they tell you from eb games I was in there last week and they said the PSP wasn't to be released until the summer, so dont go by what they tell you

I just pre order one like yesterday at eb and I put down 190 $ and they said that the total would be 345$ with the spider man two move a game and some demos.

If some of the bundles are cheaper than each item by itself, then I'll be getting the bundle that suits me. I mean, that’s the whole point of bundles isn’t it? The bundle is supposed to be cheaper then each item separately.

thats how i've always seen em, but if it's the launch of a system the company can make it so you can only buy it in a bundle at first and that each of the items in it are at norm price means that the company still makes the same profit, and since there is no alternative at the launch this means that the bundle cant be not purchased for a base unit and the buyers own personal choice of accesories. So the buyer would have to spend even more money to get the things he wants, while still getting the stuff that they might not have wanted in the bundle.

it is a beautiful machine i just hope that they sell the unit by itself soon after release, I cant afford a bundle full of crap i dont want.

the eb world bye me is only selling the bundles.

i think target and walmart will just sell the console alone with no bundle

that is not correct tazz. it is only being sold in bundles at launch and will be sold seperately some time after, and then the baser price for the unit is 250$, not 189 like you think it is( that was the US equivialnt to the JApenese release price) and most bundles that are being sold at launch are going for 400 bucks.
