wow thanks for the post/
i'd like this to be moved to the politics forum.

they said the max he can get is a year in prison and i think thats too little.from everything i've read im sure they would have carried this task out if they could and if they had succeeded, they would have gotten life for sure. luckly they were stopped but based on the intent and the intel that confirms their intent, they need a harsher punishment.
people like these are the scariest and the most dangerous of all, because they have no fear, not much to lose, and believe that causing such a disaster is achieveing something and necessary. reminds me a lot of suicide bombers.
im very happy they were caught and need to be amply dealt with. i just hope there is a lot of media coverage over this. i'd hate to see this get less airtime just because the plot was foiled and nobody died

Are you an idiot. they sign up to serve this country, they know the risks. You shouldn't go to school if there was a risk of being killed.

I got in trouble once for saying that in high school lol. I also wrote a story about a war and i almost got suspended for that also, also in high school. So i did it again

Anyways if its an actuel bomb threat like he wrote it down and seriously meant it then yea punish him. But after seeing kids get punished for bringing a picture of a soldier holding a gund, or joking about it, or something similar i start to think otherwise.

Whats funny is last year a high school went under lock down becauseo f a hitlist, yet the school didnt tell anyone instead they put a cop on campus. If someone would of died that day who knows what would of happened.

The other is an awkward 17-year-old hungry for attention, acquaintances say. I would hate to be called that. I hope these kids get whatever they need to make better choices.
