Koei's Dystany Warriors series' PSP debut was released in Japan just days ago, the Dynasty Warriors premium package
came pakaged with a pack of Dystany Warriors trading cards and a vinyl PSP case which will snuggily house your UMD-playin' portable.

For a lot of fans, more than the game or the bundled trading cards, the case included with the premium package was the biggest selling point. Koei saw a lot of potential... On January 27th, 2005 Koei will officially begin their sales of the successful carrying case all over Japan.

The cost for the case is set at 2,604 yen. I think I can get an imported one, the Koei case is a better option than Sony's own.

looks good, but whats really different between this case and the official psp case from sony? maybe the price?...i dunno.... It's smaller and it doesn't have that cheap feeling the Sony case has.

To be expected really. I'd probably just use the Sony case though...

i like any case that fully protects that beautiful screen from getting damaged :D, ive seen all sorts of cases, aluminum cases (my favorite), and this case from koei. man i cant wait to get the PSP on Launch day, then get a strong, sturdy case for it.

Constantine, the screen for the PSP is covered with this material that can, in normal circumstances not be scratched, the only way they succeded in scratchin the screen was when they took a knife to the screen.

yes i am aware of the material that protects the screen, the PSP is a very sturdy gaming device, i still want to have a very strong case for it.

since we are talking about the durability of the PSP, i saw a video on the net where nintendo fanboy's in japan tried to destroy a PSP, it took them a long time to trash it, they even ran it over with a car and it still didnt break, but after an endless barrage of steel bats and stomping feet, the PSP finally split in two.

i think the website is www.renpou.com

lets get back on topic before a mod gets Irritated

Now Gamstop is selling a PSP Safe case that’s silver:
http://www.gamestop.com/common/images/lbox/801948b.jpg
This case is being sold for $11.99. That’s a pretty good price for a case, but because the price is so low, I don’t think it will protect the PSP much.

There is also a PSP Charger Case.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx_assets/product_images/255789.jpg

the features are:

Built-in lithium-ion battery adds 5 hours extra play time
Recharges PSP first, then built-in battery -- uses case power before PSP
power during play
Form-fitted neoprene lining protects PSP
Recessed latch prevents accidental opening
Stylish aluminum design is water and shock resistant
Use with original PSP AC adaptor
5-foot cable for extended play

and the description is :PSP Charger Case is an aluminum battery/charger case that extends the Sony PSP's play time by three times and protects the device from water and shock.

this case is for 59.99. This seems really useful especially if your on a road trip.

That PSP Charger Case looks pretty sleek. I guess it'd be a good thing to have as a last resort if you're about to run out of game juice.

Last resort? To me that looks like a necesity for any true gamer, i mean 5 xtra hours of gameplay!!!!! and for sixty bucks thats much more cost efficients than buying xtra battery packs for the psp, I am for sure going to get one of those

I meant as a last resort if you're bringing it around all the time, because it doesn't look as sleek as the PSP by itself [like waiting in line at the movies or something]. Actually, it wouldn't be that bad, now that I think about it. I'd definitely bring it with me on an airplane to pass the time.

and for sixty bucks thats much more cost efficients than buying xtra battery packs for the psp, I am for sure going to get one of those
Yes it is a good deal, and I'll most likely be picking one up myself.

what seems might be a problem is the cover of the charger that goes over the PSP. It doesnt seems to flip backwards over the whole PSP and it might flip ontop of the PSP during play. this might be a problem :?

I was looking at that too. It does seem to be a cause for concern. Maybe it's just up like that for display purposes.

im sure it goes all the way down, and when it does then your index fingers on the r and l buttons will probably keep it down.
