Yea, PS3 Portal appreciates all the help it can get. Oh we are keeping our eyes out for potential moderators  .

I think we need moderators. As well as if we divided the PS3/PS2 forums in 2 so say we have PS3 Discussion which is basically hardware, and then PS3 Games which is games obviously.

I think thats not a bad idea...but maybe we should wait until the forums get a bit more popular. Right now we dont really need it. Good idea though! :D

Yeah I don't think we need moderators just now. I think getting people we know to join is one thing but maybe advertisement is another.

Also I think we could all benafit with an afflite circle. Ie we all link our sites to each others and advertise anyway.

Interesting idea. It would be great if everyone could link to the forum - it would really help it grow. Also if everyone told their friends or anyone interested.

Does anyone on the forums have any sites? If so can we see?

I asked them but they said their site is too good to want any affiliates. Shows a bunch about the management there.

Best way to get your forum to grow is to do "nothing". PS3 is such a hot topic right now that people will be searching for sites related to it. Just sit back and watch the people come through the door, some will go but others will stay and word will get around. I found the site myself looking for information on PS3 and behold this was one of the first sites on the search engine list.

If you go looking for recruits per say, you'll just make people angry. That does not show one bit of professionalism if your saying "hey come to these forums!" If you do however post at another board and it's ok with the administrator put this website in your sig. Just a small link, nothing else needs to be said.

It is a good idea to advertise on site rings though. That is what will add more members.

Hello, I am a mod/staff member of PS3Insider...

I would like say we are not "too good" for you, just that the competion aspect is a little too much. Sorry.. maybe in the future we can work out a complemetary relationship or some such...

Thankyou for allowing me to post this.

Ok - thats good to know that its not for other reasons. :) Let me know if you're interesting in affilating, or coming to some sort of arrangement in the future.
