I finaly tried this game out last night. This game has such refined graphics and gameplay I didn't know what they were complaining about at the X05. When I first started playing the game I thought it was going to be gay but as you play more and more you start to realize how good the game really is.
Graphics 95
If you are playing this game on a HD TV you will seriously be blown away. he lightning just loooks awesome. When you shoot there will be a hole left in the wall. THe explosions are even better. Seeing the game in action is much better than in those videos. The effects in the game are crazy like if you shoot at someone they'll bounce off walls. That is so cool!!!
GAmeplay 85
I was amazed by how many pistols you could choose. There are silencer, scope( I don't play many games with pistols having slope). The less you carry the faster you move, I guess that makes sense. THere is limited space in your inventory and the bigger you carry, you have less space for other things.
Sound 70
Well the music was okay but I liked the sound effects.
Value- 80
This game is ok for value because you do not really want to play it over again. For the action and the guns I would just go online
Storyline-0
I am adding this because I did not know where to put it and has been really pissing me off. If you like a game where there is a story and is easy to understand this game is not it. There are cut scenes and you are like WTF just happened here. The guy who directed the game just screwed it up here. The guy who did the story line should be fired and never be allowed to work in the industry again.
Average 66/100
The only part they screwed up in is the storyline and presentation. I am RPG freak and for a game to be good to me needs good storyline and presentation. If you are buying the game for the FPS gameplay its pretty good
BOO yah first guy to post here

Perfect Dark Zero: Review
Gameplay: 90/100
The sheer number of guns, plus secondary and tertiary abilities make each game a brand new one. The number of strategies you can use just depending on what type of gun you have is amazing. It is also nice to see a game that considers how much a person could truly carry, so PDZ has a limited number of spaces depending on the size of the weapon, as opposed to Halo 2, where you get any two weapons no matter what size. The levels are also very well thought out, for the most part, and offer as many different strategies as the weapons do. They are truly massive in scale. On the downside, I understand why Rare left out the jump button (to stop people from jumping all game long and to help incorporate the roll feature) but in all honesty, they had enough available buttons to add it in, and they shouldn’t have left it out. Jumping can be a great strategy and make the game more fast-paced, and by leaving it out, Rare damaged the playability of PDZ slightly. The game also loses some points for not allowing you to customize your controller/buttons. Customization is key, and many people don’t necessarily like the default settings. Of course, the standard controls are actually very good, except for the weapon switching system. I don’t know how many times I dropped the weapon I still wanted to keep, and picked up a weapon I never would have thought about picking up. They really should have just made it simple.
Graphics: 95/100
Lighting, physics, and detail are all purely amazing in PDZ. Shadows act realistically; detail is on every single thing you look at. Characters physics work so well, that sometimes you feel that that is exactly what would happen if it were a real person. The only reason this category wasn’t a 100 is because the character models are rather poor, in comparison to the rest of the games graphics.
Value: 60/100
The single player reminds me almost too much of Goldeneye, and I think Rare made a mistake by borrowing from that game. You can go guns blazing through the levels, or you can take it all by stealth. Either way, you’re good. Even a combination of the two will work to get you through the level. The biggest problem with the single player is that there is nothing to pull you into the story. The plot is lame, and it really isn’t worth going through the game more than once. If you need the achievement points, it shouldn’t be too hard to pull off, but doing it could result in some serious pain. As of now, I haven’t played the Co-Op. I will update when I can, but so far, almost no one plays Co-Op online
Sound: 97/100
The sound in Perfect Dark Zero is amazing. Pure genius in my opinion. All the in-game music is good enough that you probably won’t even think to use any custom music. Well, I didn’t. Of course, if you do want to use custom music, it blends in perfectly with the game. All the sound for each and every weapon is amazing, and I would say, perfect. This category is only rated down due to the fact that the Multiplayer (Xbox live) announcers are HORRIBLE, and same with the voice acting in single player. You can easily get over those things as they don’t take up a lot of your time, but they are bad enough to warrant mention in any review.
Xbox Live: 80/100
What can I say? This is THE game to have for Xbox Live on the 360. It is fast paced, and skill based. That’s all you need to have in a game to make it successful and this game has it. Unlike most people though, I am not going to let PDZ off easy. One good aspect of the game is the levels. I was very, very skeptical of how the levels would work, with only a few of them. The levels resize themselves automatically (or manually if you want) to the number of people you have in the game. It works very well, and you don’t really get bored of any maps. The game requires skill, and has either very little, or no auto-aim/magnetism. This is a good thing, because the better players do better in the games, unlike in Halo 2. The problems though, are worth mentioning, because the game could be made so much better. For one, I can shoot a person standing perfectly still with an assault rifle 4 times in the head, and they wont die. I understand what armor is for and what it does, but pulling off that sort of feat (4 headshots) while the other person is moving… it’s nearly impossible with one clip. My point is the game requires you to hit the enemy WAY too much for a kill to be counted. If I had any say with the PDZ team, I would have made all weapons deal +50% damage. Why? Cause almost every online battle will require you to waste at least 2 clips (meaning you had to reload) to kill someone. It’s good that accuracy is a major part of the game, but when you DO hit them that should count also. This is a huge problem in the game, and it could (and should) be fixed very easily. One other thing to be fixed is a party system, though it isn’t really all that hard to get a game going. Finally though, I want to praise Rare in their use of Xbox Live. Halo 2 bluntly told its fans that they couldn’t play a game of their liking unless it came up randomly. It was frustrating and annoying. What a horrible waste of such a great FPS game. Though I party system could definitely be worked on, it isn’t really all that hard to get a game going. Perfect Dark Zero though, offers both a quickmatch (randomly get tossed into a game) and the ability to search for a custom game. That last feature is SO amazingly useful, even though some people don’t take the time to use it. Rare is giving their users a choice, and for that I praise them. Finally, I think Rare should be given a big thumbs up for their use of Achievements. There is a ton to do, and it would take a long time to get all the achievements that there are. Unlike games like Call of Duty, it isn’t just purely beating the game on hard, but specific feats that you can pull of online.
Overall 84/100
A fun, and fasted paced Xbox Live game and my personal favorite to play on the Xbox 360, but only because of the multiplayer. The single player seemed rushed and almost as if they didn’t even try on it. Levels were reused and other than looking good, they sucked. If you like big FPS battles, ones that require real skill (not like Halo 2 spray and pray) this game will be what your looking for. Definitely not a “Halo of the 360” like it was meant to be, but a game worth having in your library nonetheless.

I'd give it an 8/10. The single player is not even worth playing, but the multiplayer is a lot of fun. My major gripe is that it takes around 10 shots to kill anyone (unless you score a headshot, that is)

Gameplay
I'd give this game overall a 9/10.
breakdown...
Sinlge Player
10/10
I dont know what you guys are talking about. It was awesome gameplay. There were plenty of cut seens, and lots of action. Although it was abit short, but it makes up with it by haveing increasing difficulty. Not to meantion the co-op mode, with new capabilities of gaming. And the weapon choose system is awesome. Brings a strategy to your weapon chooing towards the end of the round.
Multiplayer
9/10
The matches and settings seemed alot like a rip of Halo 2, but Halo was awesome, so its ok. My only greif is that theres only 2 vehicles, but the weapon scheme is sweet, and maps aren't too shabby either.
Sound
8/10
To be honest, i used my mp3 players songs when playing the game... so i dont have a great aspect on the overall auditory performance, but from what i heard, it did pretty well.
Worth the Money?
8/10
Its hard to make enough value to total 60$ (if you got the LE, which a true gamer would), but this games cuts it close.
Graphics
10/10
This game is next gen. Peek of gaming. Not once was I disappointed while playing this game (at least graphics wise. I hate having to keep teammates alive, but thats a personal issue) But anyway, loved the game ands it graphics are, for the lack of a better word, erousing.

I gotta get me one of these! :D
Nah, not really. However it may well be my first X360 game. I love FPS game ever since Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force first came out. Now if only we see this much underrated game coming to the X360 then it will be a a totally new experience altogether. :D
Update - I got it. Now all I need is the console to play it with...
Update - I got it. I played it. Here is my review:
Graphics - 75.
Why? Simple. I don't care much about being in the dark where you can't see anything. A night vision option would of been a nice addition to this game. Without it I can't see anything.
Gameplay
Solo mode. 5 of 10. All we have to do is aim and shoot. There's not much to it.
Team mode. 8 of 10. Excellent interactive environment where you have the chance to talk and act with your team mates.
Storyline - 5 of 10.
Remember No One Live Forever? This game almost had the exact plotline. Right down to the mission debriefings.
Sound - 6 of 10.
Nice soundtrack but it could use a bit more dramatic flare.
Overall - B -
This game is above average for a FPS game. It's not perfect but can use a bit more work.
Just my two credit worth.

Gameplay-
Singleplayer- 7/10
There were only 3 enjoyable missions for me inthe campaign mode mainly because they were packed with action except one. [spoiler:4d7ad50c59]The Club, escaping china with your father, and the mission where you have to save the carrington members in Africa.[/spoiler:4d7ad50c59] Most other missions were slow and boring and sometimes hard to find your way around because the damn arrow things don't show up when you need them. Especially in the jungle mission. YOU WILL NEED a certain gun to get throught that mission if you want to see your enemies, but i often find myself running out of ammo for that particular gun since its the only gun you use during the mission. The first mission wasn't a great pase setter either. It was slow and you have no clue what the hell your doing.
Co-op- 9/10
Same lame missions but most things are more exciting with friends (but not sex unless there of the opposite sex)
Story- 0/10
You guys have read the other reviews. So i'm not going to say much besides the fact that the story is a piece of ****. Who ever wrote this should be fired please. RARE needs to hire someone from Square Enix for story boarding or something man.
Multiplayer
Offline experience 10/10
You don't need online to enjoy the game. The A.I. is extremely smart and the maps are beautiful and the action is fluent. The only flaw i would have to say about the A.I. is that all that battles always take place in one specific area of the map, but it also like that online so i geuss its just how it is. Gave it a 10 because its just so damn fun.
Online experience 10/10
Must I say more? I don't think Xbox Live is anything to brag about, but PDZ is just a fun game online. I still have yet to play a game over 16 players thou? 32 to is the Max online right? Well havn't seen it yet. I'd actually give the online experience 15/10, but that just wouldn't be mathematically correct now would it.
Graphics
Character Models 6/10
Who the hell created this ****? The models look so god damn goofy. They don't even look good in motion. The only appealing character is Joanna, but then she looks ugly after she gets that lame suit. Don't even say there trying out another artistic feel. This is a franchise here. You don't experiment like that with a franchise game. This game is made for adults. We don't wanna see some really ****ty cartoon looking violence unless is from Southpark or Drawn Together( basically comedy). I know people will disagree with me on this but its my opinion.
Enviroment 9/10
The enviroments are beautiful. plain and simple. the only flaw is that the developers over glossed the game. Everywhere you look its glossy. But besides that from Walls, to streets to sidewalks, from guns to plants, it all looks beautiful.
Physics 6/10
Okay, I'm not a physics major or anything, hell i didn't even take physics in High School(which i still am in, go Kinnick Red Devils!), but i know that when i run up to someone and blast them at point blank range with a shotgun, there not supposed to fly upwards. When i'm using the Super Dragoon as a grenade launcher sometimes the grenades will bounce of a tree 20 feet into the air.....
Animations 0/10
When i'm talking about Animations i'm mainly talking about when the character dies. It's horrible. Thats all you have to know. They should have just asked Bungie for their Rag Doll Physics and just thrown the animation away. I get shot, i slowly fall down and my arm is hanging in the air.... Why is that? MS shouldnt rush anything anymore. Learn from this MS and don't rush your next console.
Sound
Voice Acting - 2/10
Can anyone say lame/corny? The lines are so horrible, especially at the end of the Club mission in China. the father is so damn lame your just wanna jump off a cliff.
Game Soundtrack -10/10
Honestly the only thing i've heard from this game is the opening song which is ****ing awesome. During the actual game thou i just plugged in my Ipod and streamed off that.
Is it worth it
If you have live by the damn game ASAP. If not, well don't. Not worth it unless you plan on getting live in the future. I highly suggest to any buyer to skip the entire campaign and just hit Live/Multiplayer. If you do want to play the singleplayer campaign i suggest only to use to to practice for online play.

While Rare has finally released a new game. Let's see if M$ got the moneys worth from them yet.
Graphics 95/100
The detail that Rare has been able to put into this game is just amazing. The characters, cities, and guns are just extremely well done.
Gameplay 80/100
Nothing new just many ways to complete one level. Only if you can found them.
Sound 70/100
Really you know want sound means in a FPS. The guns sound decent nothing good just decent.
Value 85/100
The Live features really keep this a live. If you like online play than this is a must have.
Xbox Live 90/100
The Live features really show themselves off in this game. You can get some real teams together just my founding random people online and find some people who really want to play co-op.
Overall 84/100
I say if you like online play go pick up this game as fast as you can. If not than rent first to see if your going to like this game.

Heres a Super Short Review:
The graphics were supurb, but it did not live up to its orgional on the N64. The storyline, in my opinion, sucked BAD, Jack Dark's voice acting SUCKED, and the role of Clarrisa (I think) was lame. after defection, you never see her till the end. And they decided to make jonathans hair grey, and then a few years later it turns blonde (in the origional PD)

Definitely one of my favorite multiplayer games of all time. Great weapons, great sounds, great graphics, and some pretty awesome maps. One of my favorite 360 games, but that's not really saying anything on account of not too many good games have come out yet. My second favorite 360 game to Oblivion. One of my favorite features is with duals how you can use both triggers.
8.9/10.

Its my first next-gen game so I thought I ought to review it
Graphics: 9.5/10
The environments are really amazing, the character details are very high. IMO this is one of the best looking 360 games to date (yes I've played Oblivion). My only complaint are the damage on enemies, there are no blood stains on them when you shoot them or slice through them, there is no visible damage of any kind, I thought that for sure with next-gen we'll be able to see those things.
Gameplay: 9/10
At first all I noticed were the little annoying things like physics on enemies being a bit too slow, or the inability to jump. But as I was getting further into it, I begun to realise that I really love this game. There are SO MANY different ways to get through each level, the extras difficulties are sure to keep the game challenging, add this to the massive amount of weapons and gadgets and you got one damn good FPS.
Multiplayer: 10/10
Co-op over system link HELL YEAH! Thats all I have to say.
Sound: 10/10
I love the music, especially that opening theme. The enemy speech is hilarious, Rare have a brilliant sense of humour. Gun sounds are also very accurate depending on what you hit, it all sounds pretty realistic. The game also features one of the best "walking on snow" sounds that I've ever come across.
Story: 8/10
Nice and simple, some bits don't add up a tiny bit. But other than that the game has a rather decent story for an FPS, keeping in mind that there are very few FPSs with good storylines. The story has a real James Bond feel to it, which is a nice touch I think.
Value: 9.5/10
You'll finish it in about 7-10 hours, but then there are all the other difficulty settings to consider, plus all the other ways you can get through a level, plus all the extra weapons you can unlock, plus the multiplayer. All in all you'll be enjoying this game for a very long time.
Overall: 9.5/10
All the minuses of the game eventually become overshadowed by all its pluses, this is a very enjoyable game, I would recommend it to anyone who like Sci-Fi FPS games.

It was alright, graphics were incredible, but too....shiny. And i hated the character models, especially those of the bad guys.
Oh and the blood effecs are terrible.
Overall....dont bother spending 40 quid. Just rent it, or borrow it from someone.
