Shop Error

yeah i know you said it was down but i happened to check it out before reading that sticky in the announcements thread.
I baught a gold name effect and it took my skill points, but my name isnt really gold :P
unless its displayed in a certain page or something?
i am confused. =\

Ah that is a new error. It must have been cuased by Rebon adding the quick reply becuase the quick reply mod changes the properties of the members username so that when you click on it it puts their name in [b] tags. We will fix this shortly. Thank you for bringing it to our attention Dragonlance.

i am wondering if this is just on my computer or is it on everybodys...when i go to view effects in the shop and lets say i picked the colour gold, will there be a small red glow behind the writing??? cause thats what i have.. :|

You have a red glow becuase you purchased the glow before we got rid of it. That means the database still has it stored for you. I will have to remove it manually. Its not a bug! But I will fix this for you.

Your Green Mod colour overwrites the shop name colours atm. It may also be browser dependent. I will fix this today. But its not a bug!

Yeah...I've been using IE, and my name was just black. I've now switched over to a modified version of Mozilla, and everything loads as it should...the green name and all ;)

arent we all...im still waiting till i have more than 4000 skill points but by then i hope morph fixes my test effect feature...a week from now im guessing that all the small mistkes will be fixed...hopefully *crossed fingers*

Unfortunately:

a) I don't know why Mozilla incorrectly displays the colour test results.
b) I have no idea how to fix it.

I use Internet Explorer and everything works fine for me.

The only non-browser-specific problem that I am aware of is the fact that coloured names are not in bold, but I will fix that eventually I hope.

maybe its your computer? Older version of a browser?

Another suggestion is perhaps if you accidently press remove color you should get your skill points back? I just lost 4000 :cry:

Okay I think I have fixed the 'Red Glow' problem that seems to have been bugging a fair few of the members and hopefully with a bit of luck the test area should now work in general!

No problem. It also looks like it's displaying the names in bold now if you don't select a colour change.
