Has anyone noticed that sometimes PS1 games look a little different when you play it on a Ps2?

They're supposed to look a little more crisp on the PS2. I've seen some comaprison pic's and infact they do. I dont really care for PS1 games anymore though, looking at them compared to games of today they make better coasters.

I still play PSone games, on my ps2, and i've never noticed any differents while playing them on my ps2. Maybe it's just me though. Or my eye sights getting bad.

You wont notice any significant difference unless you play the ps2 and psone side by side. Even then you'd have to pay good attention. The difference is only graduall though, sharper image, a little smoother graphics, small things stand out a bit more. By this, say you have a checkered pattern on a wall in the game. On PSone it'll problly be a little blured but on PS2 it'll look much more defined.

It's a fact that when you play a PS1 game on a PS2 it's suppossed to make it look much better indeed  . Period no arguement can be held on what I said cause it's the pure and simple fact :D
Whether you like it or not is up to you, but I just sheaded some light to this matter so you all know the truth :P

I can't stand to play PS1 games on my PS2. I just feel like I'm taking a big step backwards.

Once again a 4th one...from the same member...however playing games on the PS2 isn't right because I can replace a PS1 if it overheats faster than a PS2 if it ever overheats and cheaper
dead post offically by me

Sorry if I'm posting since it's really late, but I just want to say that you guys suck! Some of the best PS games were from the PS1. I prefer gameplay over graphics anyday! FFX and FFX-2 was awesome for FMV's but FFVII is still my favorite of the bunch! I know you should have your own opinion, but that's mine! Constantly I am picking to play all of my PS1 games over PS2 except for my brand new games because it is still fun and is more interesting than some of the new stuff they throw out at us!
