Nine...yes...NINE...straight Madden covers have resulted in the cover player being cursed in some way. You don't even really have to believe in curses to second think that choice.

LT was smart not to take the cover. I know if my team has a chance of winning it all, forget that. Why risk my career for a cover thats been cursed.

I've met the guy, and I can tell you that he is a Hoss of a human being... and a petty nice guy to boot. I really hope he breaks the curse, because he would be a model for next generation NFL stars if he can stay healthy and maintain his game.

I recently just watch him on the NFL Network with Rich Eisen a few days ago and Rich asked him about the curse and Vince said he didn't know anything about it and they showed all the previous players that were on the cover from past years and how many games they missed. And Vince simply said,"That's not going to happen to me." Then he went on about how much Pacman Jones is trying to change, well of course he is trying to change, no one likes him and the league suspended him for a year.
