View Full Version : Ps3 Controller Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So when I am in my XMB my controller will sometimes just STOP working! Like I can only use my PS button!!!!!!!!! It never happens in a game though. How do I fix it? Why is it doing this?????

try resetting the controller to see if that helps (The little hole on the back of the controller)

Just reset it like they said.
Oh, and it's just reset, not resetted. Sorry, just kinda bugged me.

my only problem so far is that durring rfom the scores screen comes up and even when i press select it doesn't go away... just wack it against a pillow few times and it works!!!! i know i should be more careful but i have a short patience for controllers

I have had this happen to me multiple times when I have different devices going on all at once. For instance my USB keyboard, controller, and bluetooth headset. I think it just happens when the PS3 is trying to pair up with the headset. Usualy just restarting the system helps mine, but sometimes I have to unplug the keyboard and turn off the headset then restart. So try those out too.

That happened my ps3 the day after i got it, so i phoned up sony and they told me to return it and get another one. So i had get another ps3 but i kept the usb charger so now i have 2

every1 always says they have trouble with their controllers and that they disconnect for a few seconds, but i have never had a problem with mine (touch wood).
the only thing that annoys me is when you play a ps2 game and you have to connect the controller again starting the game and finishing lol, not a biggie but can be annoying.

If you controller is cutting out or unresponsive at times it is because you have other wireless signals interfering with the bluetooth one

Blue tooth dosnt operate in range of normal house hold items to interfear.
