Is it mostly big time college players that didn't go pro? Also have any walk ons become big stars for Arena football teams

I think that it's pretty cool. Its going to take some time for it to grow because no one knows even 40% of th players yet, but they have proven to be entertaining. I think that the AFL should try and get the game on more TV stations - especially local stations so each game can be veiwed!

Go Grand Rapids!!

Oh sorry lol. :p

I think the league is college players that didn't make it to the NFL. Why would you want to go to a league that only pays you like 600,000 when you could get an $80 Million contract with the 49ers?

I don't know, im guessing that some of them did considering that they're alot of people in D1 College Football who don't get drafted by NFL teams.

I would watch arena football if the field was 100 yards . It would be much better imo. I watch it every now and then, it's still fun to watch even though I don't know and of the teams, players etc.

Yeah, that's pretty much why I don't watch it as much as I would like to. I don't know any of the players! :(

Go to your local YMCA, you'll find the same level of talent.

So very, very true. They're there for a reason... all of the wide receivers run like a 5.0 sec. 40-yd dash. And a lot of them are walk-ons as well. But then again, where else would we look for the Kurt Warner's of the world?

:-D...:)...:-|...:?...

Arena Football is filled with NFL failures and small time college ppl. Also I dont think they 600k , I read several articles that all led me to believe that even the top stars make less than 100k which isnt bad but when NFL minimum salary is like 598k a year and even your average you make 1.5 or so its pretty bad but then again Arena will never come close to what NFL has to offer because there not the same type of football and if they were they'd never last almost 20 like they have and would have suffered the a defeat like the XFL.

Edit : Just looked on Wiki the salary cap is 1.82 with 20 man active rosters that doesnt leave alot for the stars...anyways here's a example of a team roster
