So did anyone else catch this fight :D Calzaghe won by TKO in the 3rd round Manfredo look very bad in the ring. Calzaghe really deserves a super fight now. Against the liks of Bernard Hopkins or Jermain Taylor

Hah the Welsh prevail again :D, good fight by Calzaghe but i still think the ref stopped the fight miles to early, not that Calzaghe wouldn't of gone on to win it anyway :p.

Manfredo got owned! TBH it is an insult to Calzaghe to even put him in a fight with boxer such as Manfredo. I can't wait for July when he has a real super fight and keeps his undefeated career.

Ref stopped the fight way too early.

Calzaghe's a class fighter, but he does seem to slap-punch and bop-punch. I'm very surprised there aren't harder hitters out there in the super middle weight class. Calzaghe could probably get owned/knocked out if he went up against a mini-mike Tyson type, but trying to outlast him or absorb too many of those slaps is suicide.

True i mean who was Manfredo before "The Contender" was on TV and even then he didn't last long, he was lucky to be brought back and still he didn't even win the final lol.. and i also agree with Morpheus the fight was stopped way to early but they did say they had concerns about the ref before the fight, well if that was the case why didn't they change the ref..

Yep Ref stopped it too early, Manfrando was getting owned but he werent hurt. Calzaghe is quality, his too fast and too accurate, sure he doesnt have the hardest punch in the world but he is the best supermiddle weight. He really needs a super fight to prove that he is the best.

Tyson or a mini Tyson would destroy anyone!!

I read on teletext just now that Jermain Taylor has been offered £3,000,000 for a fight, and Kessler has rejected the fight. But ye the ref stopped way to early, but Joe would've still won :D
