i dont think anyone can answer those questions.....yet. maybe ppl know how many cars it has but i dont think so. and the part where you said "How much memory does the PS2 disc have?" what do you mean by that...there is no memory in the PS2 except for the mem cards

He's referring to the storage capacity of a PS2 DVD disc as opposed to a PSP UMD disc. PS2 DVDs are somewhere around 4.7GB...

I think I remember reading that there'll be upwards of 500+ cars to choose from and 50 courses (at least that's what they promised).

From what I have read is that the PS2 version will have 650 cars and I think from 50 to 100 courses. That is what the ads and commercials say.

The PS2 can play dual layered games so actually its closer to ~9.4 gB.

What kind do you have? I mean I know of Xenosaga being dual layered, and I think MGS2: Sons of Liberty is also dual layered.

MGS2 isn't dual-layered, and I don't know about Xenosaga. I have a version one PS2...

yah as its been said before the ps2 discs capacity is around 2X's as much as the umd's, or 4.7 gb
