Well this is odd, camping out for spiderman three then the following weekend im camping out for pirates 3. WOW.

I already watched it 10 times lol, this is more intersting than all the spiderman 3 clips combined, thats probably why you beat me to it lol.

I dont know i think this is the movie of the year, will break records everyway possible, and spiderman 3 has met its match.

The director is just so amasing with the whole series, just look at some of those scenes and such in that trailer how do you picture that lol.

I've seen the last two films so it's a must see for me. Jack Sparrow was in a tight spot at the end of PotC2, I wonder how he got out of it! Also Yun-Fat Chow stars in this and he's a bit of a legend in my eyes.

I am quite sure about it , that when they would release this movie in Fall it would break the Titanic box office record =P
But I am sure this will be the fourth movie to cross the 1billion dollars in worldwide box office, after Titanic , LOTR ROTK, POTC2 ... hehe. I hope Titanic will finally be beaten.

Lets root for a titanic boom in box office this year! Spiderman 3 or Pirates has to beat it, heck both of them have a chance at doing it. I say close race at the beginning but the pirates will pull away and then the next thing you know titanic moves to second.

Isnt it ironic that two "boat" movies are the highest in box office lol.

The first one was good. Couldn't stand the 2nd one, boring as.

The movie was slightly less because of the weird ending, but the rest was just as awesome as the first movie :)

I hope this will be as great as the first one, there was just someting about the second one I didn't like, they dragged it out way too much imo just like with Bad Boys 2 (Also Jerry Bruckheimer what a coincedence)

Well the only reason i didnt like Pirates 2 as much was because the ending made it seem unfinished, other than that it was one of the best movies ive seen.

No but my friend hates them too yet he loves action based movies, i think he just wants to fight the majority and since everyone likes it he hates the movie.

The first one i bought the day it came out, the second one i bought around the day it came out at disneyland lol. The third ill just sit in the theatre and watch until it comes out. :lol:

The movie was slightly less because of the weird endingReasons why number 2 sucks:
- Too long.
- Terrible ending.
- Too many storylines. This is POFC, not Pulp Fiction
- Terribly written compared to the first, and arguably not as funny
- Depp's character is just the same, there is no development. I wouldn't mind if it weren't for the fact the character is pretty one-dimensional
- Reuse of characters which could have been new INTERESTING characters.


Trust me the first one was a pretty good film, for what it was, but the second one was just convoluted and lame. Obviously if you like it you like it, but from a point of view of a massive film fan, from blockbuster to arthouse flicks, this was a poor movie. I'm not one to read or really trust the film press so take this with a grain of salt, but I believe the critical reception wasn't good at all, at least that's what I heard.

If you enjoy it, enjoy it. That's important.
