Dang I forgot about Queen and the Wu Tang Clan. 36 Chambers is an awesome album, however I feel that Wu Tang Forever is a better refined one. What can I say about Queen other than Freddie Mercury's voice was amazing.

One of my all-time favorites! I was dying to see him live, unfortunately he's playing in my town with Norah Jones and tickets are $60 a piece. Not worth that much to me. F'n Norah Jones thinks she's exposing him to a new audience, but she's really just screwing over his real fans.

I've just recently been introduced to him, and he's quickly becoming one of my favorites as well. I have 3 of his albums....everything minus "End of Amnesia".
And yeh, that's too bad with the whole Jones ordeal...

Seeing as I'm too lazy and this thread is too void of posts. Can you tell me about him, his style etc..

I like him a lot because he can collaborate folk with a nice experimental rock feel. It's not too boring, and not too much. And best of all, he has a brilliant voice and great lyrics. I won't be able to upload any of his material (sorry, have a dial-up :( ), but if you do need a sample of him I'm sure you could find a song or too on the internet, probably best chance on his myspace.

I don't think I've ever met a Metallica fan who's favourite Metallica album isn't Master of Puppets. It's my favourite too, although I do have a penchant for S&M.
Peace Sells is my favourite Megadeth album, by far.

M. Ward is very good. I came across him through a friend when I was talking bout Bright Eyes with him. Very good stuff.

S&M is pretty good. I'd actually go so far to say that some of the songs are even better when played along with the orchestra. I love how the intro to Battery is done by the orchestra, it sounds freakin' awesome. The Call of Ktulu is great too on S&M.

Yeah but compilation albums and 'greatest hit' singles collections are like 'cheating'! ;) As a collection of singles, Queen are hard to beat. But each album kinda has its highs and lulls.. their best of albums are brilliant though. The only Queen album I dig all the way through from beginning to end is The Miracle, which for most fans find relatively weak.
