REFLEX

This is probably going to be one of the best looking titles on either format for quite some time. If anyone saw the DVD it was extreemly good looking, this new release will be no let down I can tell ya that.
Its release date is Feb. 27th! Thats not far off at all, just over a month.
You can download 480p, 720p and 1080p teaser trailer from the NIN.COM website. It looks fantastic.
This is going to be very interesting, they didnt make mention if they are using Uncompressed MPCM for this release or not.... doesnt matter too much to me (that would be sweet though)... anyway Im super excited about this. I saw them on this exact tour that the video is of 3 times.... magic!
According to comments made by video director Rob Sheridan on the Spiral,[3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beside_You_in_Time#_note-Spiral) the video content of each format will not vary aside from differences in resolution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_resolution), bitrate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitrate) and functionality. Sheridan also commented that Microsoft (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft) had to update its high-definition VC-1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VC-1) video codec (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codec) specifically to accommodate the highly frenetic and thus difficult to compress video imagery of a live Nine Inch Nails show at the highest allowable bitrate, and further elaborated that all three formats would have Dolby Digital (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolby_Digital) soundtracks in both stereo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereo) (mixed by Dave Ogilvie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Ogilvie)) and 5.1 surround sound (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multichannel) (mixed by Elliot Scheiner (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elliot_Scheiner)); in addition, they will include higher-resolution versions of the surround audio: either DTS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Theater_System), as on the DVD, or Dolby TrueHD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolby_TrueHD), as on the Blu-ray and HD DVD. Sheridan said the DVD packaging will be housed in a digipak (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digipak), whereas the other two discs will be in format-labeled (red for HD DVD, blue for Blu-ray) plastic cases; a FAQ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FAQ) detailing more specific differences between formats will be made available on the Body of Work (http://www.nin.com/halo/22/index.html) section of the NIN website soon.[4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beside_You_in_Time#_note-2)[/URL]
