I have followed the instructions to the letter and boosted through the big green boulder on level 2. I have tried approaching time and time again from ever concievable angle, aiming for the very centre of the flippin' thing...

This is one of the easiest compared to "Late Bloomer".

-Second Planet
-Get the green bonus
-Don't rush.
-Get as close as possible to the Green Rock and aim for the middle.
-Boost, and you should get it.

Try waiting for the bonus piece to get in line with another green rock, then boost through the center of both rocks. It works.

I think a better way to do it is get far away from the bonus rock and boost. This way at the end of your boost you slow down but still do damage and are more likely to destroy all of the rocks and collect all of the icons.

you sure you didn't shoot it first (at first I thought I needed to see the points...)?
take your time and get behind the rock so you're travelling directly with it. when your in the same line boost through the middle. it's got to work sometime...

Yea, stay behind the rock and boost, it only took me 3 or 4 attempts i'm finding shield something very hard!

Should you do this on easy or normal? I've used easy to unlock all other trophies.

EDIT: Just tried to do this about 5 times, one time I managed to get real close to the green rock and boost through all but 2 tokens, I yelled so much at the TV when no trophy came up.

thanks im gonna try this i have tried it alot never that way though i usually try not to blow up any green rocks then when i get the bonus i use a bomb then i boost

Do it on easy, compared to other trophies i think this is one of the easier ones ;)

Go to the second lvl and line up and boost in to the bonus asteroid will take a few trys tho took me like 10 or 15

This was easy for me and Silver. I am stuck on Extra Ships Optional - which is bronze but harder than getting 10x multiplier

exactly. wait until there is another token (or even 2) inline with the bonus rock. boost through the token in the direction of the rock, and after a few tries (took me about 6-7), you should be able to do it.

okay on the video it shows him blasting through the giant green rock right? well i tried it several times and couldnt get it so.....
dont destroy the green giant rock, instead let it set until another regular giant rock gets in front of it and blast throught the 2 rocks at the same time! guaranteed to work!

I must have been lucky since I got this on the first try in the second level. Make sure you give the big green rock time to fall all the way to the surface. If you boost while it's not all the way on the surface you won't destroy the whole thing. I hope you get it!

I've watched a couple of videos on YouTube about this one but haven't tried it yet. From the videos it looks so easy but from what some of you are saying it doesn't sound so easy. I'll edit my post to let you guys know how many tries it took me if I can even do it.

i just got this one its easy just play arcade mode on the second level and get the bonus and boost threw the middle took me like 6 or 7 tries.

Took me about 5 attempts you need to get right in the centre of it, it's taking me forever to get the 10x multiplyer one, I keep getting to 9x and dieing.

I employed the method of trying to make the green bonus asteroid coincide with the END of my boost, and it worked. After 50+ tries. I'm not even exaggerating. I wish i was.

I am now a level 2 trophy monkey!

I only tried it twice but then I had to go to work. I'll try again tomorrow and I'll try the hitting it at the end of the boost method. Congrats to Russ for finally getting it! I can't wait til I reach level 2.

i done it on my first attempt.. no joking. i did read up on it before i tried my first attempt though and did the second planet thing you are all talkin about.. however i did it through the main bonus and a smaller piece. im havin huge problems getting multiplier hero..

its pretty easy once you know what to do on the first boss as soon as it comes down pull out your gold melter and destroy all the rocks on the planet then once you destroy them all just avoid him while he is shooting at you once hes done shooting go after him with the gold melter and attack his turbine things once you destroy them all you win

im havin huge problems getting multiplier hero..

I think I had to get to the 4th or 5th planet before I got to 10x. So that's pretty much not taking a single hit through the whole game.

It is good to do the shield trophy and 10x one at the same time IMO. Since you have to grab 5 shields while already having a shield, you're always trying not to get hit anyway, and you're multiplier is going up.

I already had the expansion before the trophy system arrived. The expansion is pretty good if you are really into the game and want a lot more modes. But overall it doesn't really seem worth the price if you don't have any interest in the trophies. I kind of think the expansion should have been free. I never really played the expansion content that much until the trophies came.

got it on my 6th try all i did was slowly get closer to the green bulder while its moving the other way (not towards you) and charge at it from the middle, i also got a life

I think a slammin soundtrack helps. I went and created a custom stardust playlist from a mixture of Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, and the 'Tribute to Robert Moog' soundtrack.

Not totally related, but someone above mentioned that they obtained most of the trophies in "easy" difficulty level. I've been playing on "normal"...so is there a difference with the trophies obtained at different difficulty levels?

It looks tempting, but I rarely play SSHD anyways. I only started playing it again because of the trophies. No point in buying DLC for something that I'm not going to play, right?

Got the token hoarder trophy earlier this evening. Tried and failed 10 times or so, then suddenly I got lucky where the bonus asteroid lined up perfectly with my boost.

For me, the bomb ones are hardest. I cant even get the 10, I get to 9 and see no more bombs. Its pure annoyance. -_-

like others have said...go through the bonus green rock...make sure you line up so your heading right towards the center of it....i had an extra ship text show up so i thought i didn't get it but a few seconds later the trophy unlocked popped up...the hardest ones for me are the late boomer and multiplier!!

I doubt anybody bought the expansion just for the trophies. You should get the expansion because it's awesome. I've had more fun playing Endless than I did playing the original game (your jaw will drop the first time you see a nuke go off). The trophies are just an added bonus

Personally I thought this trophy was easy. All you need to do is kill all the 'countdown' asteroids but don't collect any of the tokens they drop, keep flying around and keep the tokens close until the huge green bonus one comes down then back up some and get those little tokens following you about to line up with you and the bonus, as previously mentioned, line up and hit it in the middle with a boost.

If you can hit 3+ of the of the ones following you you don't even need to get every one from the bonus so the exact lining up becomes less important (the hardest part). Took me 3 tries to get it.

To salt the salted wounds, I got it on my first attempt while trying to obtain the 5 token trophy :).

Here's my advice (and if it's been mentioned... too bad, I don't want to read the whole thread about a trophy I already have), do it on level 4, after you destroy the ships the numbered gold rocks appear, and when the big bonus green one shows up, get REALLY close to it and then boost straight through the middle. I've noticed I don't get alot of the tokens if I boost from further away but I got them all when I boosted from right next to it.

I waited and wait until the bonus rock and 1 of the other huge rocks gets close to each other then boost threw both of them at the same time you should get it thats how I did. It took me a few tries but I eventually got it.

Did you do that on the Endless game mode (expansion) or on Arcade? It doesn't count if you do it on Arcade mode. Only Endless.
