The movies are a start, the sales will determine how fast the Seasons are released I guess.

The truth is finally out: Fox is planning to bring the 'X-Files' movies to Blu-ray, the films' producer announced this week via his official blog.
As first revealed on www.xfiles.com (http://www.xfiles.com/), producer Frank Spotnitz surprised devotees with a posting to his blog revealing tantalizing details of first-ever Blu-ray and standard DVD re-issue versions of the first big-screen 'X-Files' film.
"We are working on packing the [re-issued] DVD and Blu-Ray DVD releases with as many extras as they will fit, including video and audio commentaries, behind-the-scenes footage, bloopers, trailers, a new documentary, and several other cool surprises," said Spotnitz.
No planned release window was provided, but Spotnitz further hinted that plans are also underway to bring the upcoming 'X-Files' theatrical sequel 'I Want to Believe' to Blu-ray and DVD as well, the concurrent release of 'Fight the Future' appears likely.
Though the news is certainly music to 'X-Files' fans' ears, those hoping to see a Blu-ray release of the original television series will remain disappointed -- Spotnitz says there are currently "no plans" to bring any seasons of the show to high-def.

In a recent blog entry, you said, "We are working on packing the DVD and Blu-Ray DVD releases with as many extras as they will fit, including video and audio commentaries, behind-the-scenes footage, bloopers, trailers, a new documentary, and several other cool surprises -- including a look at all those photos Chris took."
I bought the complete series collection back in November and I was wondering whether or not the Blu-Ray discs will only be released as a complete series or will they get individual season sets? If that is the case, then I might just buy the 1 or 2 seasons I like the most and get the others later. I knew when I bought that box set that I should've held off for a few months.

Actually, there are no plans as yet to release the television series on Blu-Ray, just the theatrical films.
