I absolutely love the original Fable.... played it on my PC. As I don´t have an XBOX 360, I´m thinking of renting the game and the console to play.

I was disappointed to hear they had removed the 'scarred for life" feature. I thought that was a great idea, although I do suspect I also would have ended up going down the "Damn! *load saved game to try again*" approach each time I got a scar. Maybe instead of removing it they should have had it fade over time.

Looking pretty good, but as we know Peter is the biggest lier of all time pretty much. Well its not so much that but he does under deliver.
I also wish that the scars thing was still in, apparently it was some ***** game testers that pretty much cried about it. He could have had a toggle for it though, he didn't have to get it of it.
Anyway I will be snapping this one up on my new system, I liked the first one for what it was and looked past its failings.

What does everyone think the sparkly stuff in the woods with the boy is? Magic or perhaps a marker so you find the way? Weren't they going to get rid of the mini map?

This games looks good. Ive heard that the first Fable was really fun. Never owned an Xbox though. So never got to play it. But what i've heard of this game it sounds really good. I will be buying a 360 whenever i get money and getting this game and Gears 2

I'm looking forward to this one. The original was an enjoyable, if fairly shallow, experience. Love the windmill shot, the haze on the background looks awesome.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first game and I'm sure I'll be in for a treat when Fable 2 comes out. I like the art direction and I think the game will deliver. (Not necessarily on every thing Molyneux has promised) but in terms of a great gaming experience.

I have absolutely no idea what the story is about in Fable (1 or 2) but after recently seeing these images and the rumored price drop I am almost decided on getting a 360. It looks like a game I'll thoroughly enjoy, though again, I have no idea what it's about :lol:

I'm not impressed with what I've seen so far of this title. I loved the first one, but the screens and footage I'm seeing is underwhelming visually.

I just got done watching the developer videos on the Xbox Live Marketplace. It's crazy to think what went into this game, and listening to how they have made Fable 2 an amazing upcoming sequel. The graphics, animations and gameplay all looked amazing in the dev videos. With this specific art style, probably going to be the best looking game this gen...and one of the best playing.

Screens look good. I'm REALLY looking forward to this game...but I wish they would do away with the damn dog...it's just a corny idea. Oh well...this is still one of my most anticipated games of 2008 for sure. Day 1 buy.

Hmm, looking at them also I'd have to ask what is wrong with them? Do take note these are not brand spanking new images and I assume visuals will raise a notch or two until retail release in November.

Download dev diaries 6 from Live and check it out on your HDTV set for a better call on the visuals.
