one headset not working dosent mean the entire line is crap. Maybe you just got a defective one. maybe it has a mute feature that you're not aware of?

I'm assuming you're using it for MGO and you know that you've gotta hit Select for chat, right? Did it work then stop?
If you don't hit select that's exactly what happens, you can't hear anything or talk to anyone so forgive me if its a dumb question but one that needs to be ask.
Also, did you check the mic settings (both in MGO and the PS3)? Maybe you've got the input/output at too low of a level?
If you don't mind a cord, the old-school USB mics are the way to go, they ALWAYS work (unless you break it) and never need recharged, plus some even have a handy little mute button which is great since developers decided every damn game is gonna be open mic this gen...

yeah i may have a defective one....
i mostly use it for Bf:Bc....i have yet to play MGO....and my levels are up high and the input and output is set for the headset....
it was a single product....not included with any games....
and i even tried it in the accessory settings and the sound bars didnt move...it just had a annoying broken noise...

It's too bad yours broke down, but your thread title suggests like there are major issues and a product re-call is necessary.
However, how annoying it may be, unfortunately electronic equipment does get defective once in a while.... not really a reason not to buy it.

I think your problem is Battlefield! My Usb-headset doesn't work either because the mics are broken in that game for most off the players! If you realy want to be sure go to voicechanger and talk, if you can hear yourself the mic is just fine! If not it is broken, also check that you selected your bluethoot headset for input and output sound. Let us now if that was te problem or not!
Good luck

LG? I didnt even know they MADE bluetooth headsets. If you would have asked I'd have suggested the Jabra line of headsets, Least problematic headsets I've used. Motorolas suck massive ballage.

so that bluetooth acted just like the mgs bluetooth......
so nothing was wrong with it....too bad they didnt have anymore for me to exchange for......
so i guess its my ps3 or the firmware...which it probably is.....
im gonna go back to usb wired headset.....plus its half the price....
good thing i keep receipts

As soon as I saw the $60 price tag, I was turned off.
No way i was gonna pay that.
I'm gonna hold out for the official PS bluetooth that is gonna come with SOCOM (game + headset = $60).
until then, my wired logitech headset will do just fine.

I haven't had a problem with my MGS4 one. In fact, its the best Ive ever used as well. Very comfortable. Maybe yours is defective?

I've read at several places that the MGS headset is pretty junky. With terrible sound quality and voice quality. I am personally holding out for the Socom one.

There have been known problems with the MGS headset.
I currently have a jabra but will be getting the official PS one with Socom :) Hopefully.

I almost bought this headset, but I decided not to because I've had trouble with these kind of headsets in the past. Good thing I didn't pick it up.

i've got a Moto H12 BT headset and i love it. a little pricey, but it can be connected to two hosts instead of the normal just one :)
not at the same time though, mind you - it just means you don't have to pair it to your phone, then unpair it from your phone and pair it to your PS3 to play MGO, then re-pair it with your phone when your done.
