SSDHD...and 2.40

I have a quick question. I was lucky to get 2.40 when it first came out with no problems, but I am really wanting to get some trophies.

So my question is.... If I downloaded SSDHD now would I be able to get trophies and stuff or did they take the patch down or whatever for it since 2.40 is down?

I heard this is a pretty good game anyways so I want to get it, I just want to know if I could get trophies right away or not.

I don't think the 4.0 SSHD patch is online any more either, since 2.4 was removed from the network.

You probably won't be able to get trophies right away.

yea, I only brought the game for trophies but if I woula knew it was so good i would have been got it!!!!! However, It won't update.....so its safe to say they took it down

Why wouldn't the patch to SSDHD be up? I guess it wouldn't conflict with the system. If the game sends a signal to the game-os that a trophy is recieved, the system would just ignore it, right? or would it crash?

I already had SSDHD, but bought the add-on (with custom music, more gameplays...), so now I can reach all the trophies :)

Well, for the past 2 days I've been unable to get a patch for the game. It seems a little off for who can update and who can't... since I've heard of people that can update and people that can't update. Seems odd.

The patch is definitly not up, it was pulled when FW 2.40 was pulled.

I know this because a PSN friend bought SS:HD the day 2.40 dropped and got the patch and has since earned trophies, I gameshared it the next day (after 2.40 was back down) and got no update, thus earning no trophies. Also, if you check out ps3trophies.com (http://ps3trophies.com) there's been a fair amount of talk of it on their boards.

Still get it though, the game actually rocks. And they'll have the 4.0 patch for it back up soon enough I bet, 2.40 will be back up sometime this week (or so I hear) and when it goes back up the SS patch will also go back up as its a Sony game.
