It goes by 200 point increments I think..

1 Point for signing up.

1 For making 500 posts, and the other for.. something..


You have more rep power than I woulda though, not less...

your rep power is different to the ammount of rep you have, you gain rep power from your postcount, length of time you have been a member and other factors

then when someone reps you your rep goes up by their rep power number ;) thats why you have 62 points

For free no, but after you've collected 15000 SP's, so can you PM AJe, and get the one you want... Some subscribers got it here for free, when the Super moderators had the ability to change their usertitles, but now must the subscribers even collect those 15000 SP's to get it, which sucks for me, because I do only have 6000 SP's :(

Seeing how points don't pay for server cost I doubt that. In fact your spending more time here getting the points and thus creating more of a load on the server which mean the cost rises. So... yeah...

Can anyone explain why I had my avatar removed? It wasn't a breach of the forum rules, as such, because I own the console in question so I can't be accused of being a fanboy and trying to start a console war. It was light-hearted humour at it's best, and a cheeky little poke at the Xbox. If you are wondering what avatar I'm referring to, I am talking about this one...

Logic does not work on the intrawebz.

Think of it as evolution. Small post count = Small dinosaur They get hunted by bigger dinosaurs, but the ones that survive do the same later on.

Changing the rule is a good idea, but it'll only work if every other forum did it too.

I said the exact same thing in the topic in 'Forum Suggestions' but it would appear that, to a lot of people, numbers are far more important than the actual posts. I for one don't care about post counts, nor do I not care about having no number next to my name, but a lot of people seem to be bothered by the fact that others can't see how much of a post ***** they can be, or how big their e-pen0rs are. It's kind of pathetic, really.

Your bank will become active once you deposit SP. If you have 400 SP on you, you can only deposit 399

Just copy what you want, and paste and the forum, using a special WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor, will automatically add the images and links without you having to type in the URL, will do any formatting which is featured in the article and will display it exactly how you see it.

Yellow threads are the ones that you have replied in.

I'm not sure about the quote one, but you can subscribe to a thread. Click on "Thread Tools" on the top of the first post on the page and click "Subscribe to Thread". That way you can find if someone has talked in the thread since you last visited. I believe it also emails you to.

Ive just checked and found out that in Internet Explorer it works fine but in Firefox it doesnt. Below are screenshots, I noticed that the top right hand corner is different in IE than in Firefox. I copied in Firefox and pasted in text boxes, one in IE, the other in Firefox

So the problem must have something to do with Firefox?

They can have both. I have been on the site with all the bells and whistles in full force and at the same time the site was flying.

Is the PSU.com site under attack again because I cant get to it with IE and firefox gives me an unsafe site warning and will not let me proceed??

Indeed, PSU has been attacked again. It's the reason why skill points and vBExperience were taken off, because it's thought that the hacker had got in through a loophole in those two features. Seb and co. are working on it, though, and it shouldn't be too long before PSU is up and running again.

Thanks for the reply Jaeger. Why they are targeting PSU is beyond me, I suppose its just the way if the web, a popular site with hundreds of visitors is a good target.

PSU/PS3Forums has always been branded a place for Sony fanboys to come and kiss up to Sony, and the PS3. I wouldn't be too surprised if it was some Xbox fanboy behind all of this, or an Xbox fan who was banned from here after stating his 'opinion' on PS3. I'm not naming names, though, so it's pure speculation.
