Just click on 'Shop' at the top of the forum page, then you'll have a list of the icons you have, then just click on 'Sell' for the icon you dont want anymore.

Hey, another q for you, I am really confused as to why my thread about the game Black which was on PS2 got binned. I was merely asking if anyone knew any info on a planned PS3 sequel, and a bit of speculation was in there.

I think, that it've to do with, that it must be on the PS3 section of this forum, so it's therefore, that it got locked suddenly. You'd have posted it not in the PS2 section, but in the PS3 one instead ;)

I was a bit surprised it had been trashed given it was specifically asking whether anyone had heard if a sequel for the PS3 had been rumoured.

Why not just ping a mod and ask if they can re-evaluate their decision. Whomever moved it may have just misread the intent of the thread based on you saying upfront it was a PS2 game and that you may be posting in the wrong section (as it happens I think you posted in the right section).

The max limit for normal members is 520 x 120. Design Squad Members, the max is 540 x 145 or (140). Subscribers max size is 560 x 160. So basically, your sig is probably getting deleted by mods or smc's due to over sized height.

You need to go to User CP (User Control Panel) --> Options --> Then change the formation somewhere in there. You'll see it.

its because there is milestones you have ot reach to get more ticks like get a certain amount of rep posts ect. you might of just been a member for a really long time so you have high rep power

Time served, number of post milestones reached, whether you're an admin or mod, and other elements all serve to 'add points' to your rep power.

The 'blue tick' you see is a direct result of the number rep points you have received - it doesn't factor into it anything else.

The rep power is the number of rep points you will be able to give others when you rep them. I do find it a little strange that you have a rep power of 15, which does seem quit high considering your place on the reputation scale at the moment.

Firstly, your name in rl has to be Bernard. It was getting too confusing for the admins to remember everybody's name and so this new rule was introduced some time ago. (You can get your name changed by deed poll - remember to tell parents, girlfriends and wives)

Secondly, it's important that you can leap buildings in a single bound. None of this getting 2/3rd's of the way over, or 'just clipped the chimney' malarky. It has to be confident single leap.

Thirdly, you have to be able to withstand sustained name calling for a period of no less than 12 hours. This is to prepare you for the bi-weekly threads in the Suggestion forum where someone will ***** and moan that they got a thread called "OMGZ Teh suckbox 3sixtee killz childrens and puppyz" trashed

Fourthly, you are required to show willingness by going around the new members collecting the protection money. If anyone fails to pay you have to recommend to a mod that the member has their signature changed to something that implies that they both play AND enjoy Viva Pinata or Haze.

Other than that you just need to show yourself as a valuable member to the community.

01. Not asking to be one, although asking ABOUT it such as you are is certainly acceptable

02. Being a quality member of the forums, without getting into too many issues, or infractions

03. Be active at the forums

04. Report people who deserve to be reported, and hopefully not argue with those people between the time of the report and when a MOD does something about it.

5. Participate in open discussions about the board and anything else.


People just get picked for doing the right things, now and then the Admin will come ask the MODs and the SMC who they think should be put up for a nomination. We discuss it, and then the Admins will make the final choice based off of our choices.

Same goes for MOD positions, the MODs will discuss who they think should be upgraded from SMC to MOD. Sometimes its quick, and sometimes you end up being SMC for a long long time, depending on a few things, none of which are set in stone. I was SMC for only a short while, then made a MOD.

In the text of the same thread there is a bit of a break down which reads as follows mate:

Your Reputation Power is;

• One point for every 600 posts you have made.
• One point for every 200 points of reputation you have.
• One point for each 50 days you have been a member.

For a rep to count you must have at least 10 points, and have made at least 10 posts.

Also, for some reason, the file size remains "0.00 Mb" even though the file is actually 16.8 Mb. I tried downloading though, and the file is working correctly, its just not displaying the correct info for some reason.

It's not the first time Ive had this problem, Except last time I could sign into the main home section and not here in the Forums section, and in the end I had to start all over again with a new Bl**dy profile because one day I loaded up the page from my bookmarks as usual, and I found I was signed out of the main home section aswell, and kept being told my username and password didnt match, even though I knew for a 100% fact that they were correct, So I had to start again, and I really REALLY dont want to have to make yet another danm profile, So can some very nice person Please sort this out before I get signed out of the Forums section aswell and end up not being able to sign into either part of the site. Any and all help will be Very VERY much appreciated thank you very much. Plaese help soon as poss, as I aint got many more different E-Mail addresses to use for new profiles, Cheers... :confused:

I don't know what's going on there. I know there is a rule that members with under twenty-five posts cannot create new threads, but it's pretty obvious that you have more than enough. Maybe a forum veteran can give you a more detailed answer, as I'm really not sure about this one. You could send AJe a visitor message if you wanted.

You should be able to edit your posts. You just have to click the 'Edit' button twice to load up your post, and then edit to your pleasure. Just click 'Submit' once done, and Bob's your uncle.

My sig was ok, it was there for a while now. And it wasnt flame bate because the link led to a site calling you an idiot. I got like 5 +reps for that sig. No one found it offensive.

when you view the forums, all the threads you have posted in appear yellow instead of the different shades of blue. i just want to say, this is a REALLY nice feature that im a big big fan of. it makes it really easy and obvious what threads you are following and its super easy to pick out.

now for my question: is there any possible way to make a stikied thread show up yellow? i just had this thread (http://www.ps3forums.com/showthread.php?t=174648) stickied, and when i view new posts, its really hard to tell at a glance if its been posted in.

I have no idea if it fell because there isn't any big cracks on the system. I still have warranty on it. If I send it in towards repair. Would I need to pay for the damage?

Hey i have been in this forum for about 2 weeks - 1 month my friend showed me this site in school and i liked it a lot and wondered if some people would like to join the Euro Division of the clan i am currently in.

The only problem i have is that there is no section to post this and i don't want to look like a noob randomly posting anywhere on this forum because it will give me bad rep and my clan also bad rep so i ask is there an approapiate place for me to post about clan recruiting?

Umm, you might just want to call customer support and ask them. Not sure if a light is a big deal but its best just to ask.

We usually don't act on a Signature unless someone complains really, or there is a real big noticeable problem with it.

Anyways, it's about avatars and signatures.
I'm kind of having trouble putting one in, due to size limitations. It says my signature can only be 25kb I think, and my avatar even less. But while browsing the forums, I see tons of people with much larger signatures.

Is this something I get after I post more?

Nah. I can't get any of my sig file sizes down small enough to use, even after uploading. The max is 25kb.

You can upload a picture as an attachment if you want, under "Additional Options" (appears under your posting field). Hope that helps.

Although I do recommend uploading pictures to the internet, using an image hosting website like Photobucket or Imageshack.

Now what you have to do is find the URL to the image that you uploaded.
I believe Imageshack gives you a few different codes that you can copy and paste into forums, or you can just get to the full image, right click, and "Copy Image Location" (on Firefox).

This site does seem to run slow too. I don't want to get in trouble for double posts but they just keep happening. Also when I go to the "Edit" button where I think I am supposed to be able to delete a double post, it just gives me an error. All I can do is copy the URL to the edit and do it that way. Any ideas? I know it is not the forum and my work causing the issues but it is annoying!

I recommended they disabled the Quick Reply box (it's a simple thing to do in the admin panel), but still it remains. The PM issue is one to do with time syncing between multiple servers, or a timezone setting which differs between the two (the clocks look the same but are actually two different timezones). I had PM issues similar to this one a few years ago when the DST date in the US changed. Anyhoo...it's all plop and not working.

I don't think that's necessary. I use quick reply almost 100% of the time and only get very few double posts. No more than anyone one else.

It definitely increases the double posts issue. If you don't use the quick reply you will never get double posts. Try it.
