I have a 60 gig ps3 and i was wondering how long it would take to get it back. I live in canada ontario. And i was wondering since they don't make 60 gigs anymore what would they give me because i like the backwards comp.

I´m in Europe ,so it might be different for you, and here you have to wait 9 weeks for your repaired PS3 to return. Ask if they (Sony) are willing to exchange your 60GB with a 80GB and a free game. You have a fair chance they´ll accept, as they don´t have enough 60 GB models for replacement. And you´d still have BC.

Yea but my warranty is out, and i bought it off a friend who got it from Japan. I was so pissed, so now i have a broken un-warranted Japanese Ps3 that hopefully Sony will fix.

Then you probably will have to pay Sony to fix it cheaper then buying a new one thou

well, I live in Canada and it live in Ontario, have about 3 friends who have had their PS3ès sent in.
Good news is that you will get it back within 6-8 days, since the repair office is only down the road, secondly they will either give you a refurbished 60Gb, or a refurbished 80Gb, or if they can not give neither, i preedict you will get a 40Gb, with the refund of the remaing amount of money
EDIT: If you do not have proof of purchase or warranty, sony will repair it for $150.00 dollars, cheaper and best solution!
