Should I buy Gears of War, New or Used?

I dont know if i should buy it new or used.

If I buy it new, it would be the refresh one, and if I bought it used, it would be the normal one.

The refresh is only $40 right? That's pretty much the same price as a used copy. Plus, the refresh has all the DLC. Buy new.

Might as well buy it new since it's only $40 unless you know a friend who will sell it to you for $25 or less. The DLC is all free anyway if it comes to this.

Yeah, go new on Gears of War, you can get some good bargains on new online. I know in GAME in the UK they sell some of their preowned games like £5 less than the new game, it's like, dude what's the point?

I'd go used if it was cheaper. If money's no object, then buy new and support developers efforts.

I bought it new, multiplayer isnt bad, but the host has a monster advantage, but I suck at this game bad.

I never really got into multiplayer for that game, it always bugged me that the saw would never start up when your right next to an enemy, besides I was too busy playing Vegas at the time.

I agree. But since this game has already sold 5 million copies worldwide, I guess it's ok to buy it used.

If you have a good gaming PC then buy the PC version for $30. I've been playing it on my Macbook Pro (boot camp) and frankly, it looks better than it did on my 360. Also, the PC version has a bonus chapter stuck somewhere in the game.

I would buy it new, because you know that you're getting a working copy and your supporting the developing company at the same time. :)

I bought used so that I could get the special edition version. Doesn't really matter either way though.
