I think it might be the upcoming season of the hit tv show Heroes. Each season usually has a sub title or whatever for most shows. I forget what the 1st and 2nd season of Heroes were called, but I'm almost certain they had them.

the next season is called villians when ole dude get his powers back from infusing the cheerleades blood with his. he can now use his powers. I can't think of his name but he was the villian in the first season eating people brains. but I do know the next season is called villians.

His name is Sylar and I'm a huge fan of Heroes but haven't seen this preview yet. Off to YouTube I go!

There was a preview/teaser of the upcoming season, Season 3, basically saying any "hero" can be a villain and any "villain" can be a hero. Also note that Sylar is back... And things have gotten rather haywire with the characters in the past season so it seems anything is fair game this time around.

But I like the core idea of heroes, so if they can make this work, i'll watch.

Im excited for Heroes. It is such a great show. Though I must say that last season was a bit of a disappointment compared to the first season, but that can be blamed on the writers strike for making the season end abruptly.

When is it back then???
How come there was a thingy on Channel 4? It hasn't even been on in US yet.. has it???

I thought the second season was pretty good tbh.....not as good as first, but better than most tv shows.

Ok i loved season 1 but hated season 2.
3rd season is Heroes last chance to keep me after what happend with 2.
3 is supossed to have 35 episodes so if the keep the pacing right and NOT do the "Lets drag this on a little more, dont worry we got plenty of episodes to reveal the story"

I thought season 2 was pretty boring.

Most of it was all character development and not much in the action department.

Season 1 was awesome though.

Hopefully 3 will pick up the pace again.

I'm not a fan of Sylar either.. I think he should have died in Season 1.

Hiro is my favourite character... other than the cheerleader :p

But last season he didn't really do much (that was interesting)

Writers strike was the problem though even the director said he didn't like Season 2 and that Hiro was in the past for way too long.

Hell yeah. I love Heroes. May well be the biggest fan!

The whole reason Series 2 was crap in most peoples eyes was because of the Writers Strike.

The 3rd season should be complete awesomeness. I mean something like 12 Sylars running around, all different. This is reaking of awesomeness.

You guys should search for the teaser that was shown at Comic Con, it showed some awesome scenes.

EDIT - BTW, Im pretty sure that the video ontop is Fan Made, because all it shows are clips from Seasons 1 & 2.

Wrong!
-Peter was being a ******
-Hiro was back in time too long
-Took Sylar too long to get his powers back
-Pretty much all the new heros sucked
-The shortness just because of the writers strike was just the frosting on the cake

Haven't they said that from now on every future season of Heroes will only run 12 episodes or so? I could have sworn I read that somewhere. I know the writer's strike cut the previous season short but I have to agree with most of you that it was a big letdown after season one. Here's to hoping season 3 is much better.

Nope.
Season 3 is going to be 35 episodes.
Confirmed long time ago.
You might need to make it 34 since the season premiere is 2 hours meaning 2 episodes worth.

35 episodes! That's a really long season. Normally they're between 20 and 24 for a series like this. Hopefully they have enough to fill in all those episodes instead of having a couple good ones at the beginning and end and filler material in the middle. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

So basically nearly everything you said is based on time, therefore, the shortness of the series = Writers Strike.

Peter being a ****, if you had more time in the series there could be a method to the madness.

Taking to long for Sylar to get back his powers, if you once again had a full series it would have fleshed out.

Once again, the Hiro thing, I liked him being back in time, it was quite an awesome story. Him being influential in his heroes past I thought was quite cool.

All the new heroes sucked, in your opinion.

Taking to long for Sylar to get back his powers, if you once again had a full series it would have fleshed out. - that had nothing to do with it. he should have had his powers back by episode 6.

Once again, the Hiro thing, I liked him being back in time, it was quite an awesome story. Him being influential in his heroes past I thought was quite cool. - yes but he was there too long

Agreed. Future Peter is my fav., I really hope Peter gets some balls for once and becomes future Peter. Other then him Hiro rocks but him in Japan for so long ruined Season 2. 3 eps. would have been better then the what... 6 or 7?

Like most of you said, hopefully they can improve on the poor season 2. It would be great if they introduce at least 1 more main bad character as Sylar on his own is a bit boring. We need a side-kick or secondary evil character to mess with things.

Sweet, didn't know that.

So looks like they're not changing anything then and will include the last half of season 2 and all of season 3 in season 3.

I agree with all of your points, i think they learn't from their mistakes though cause the director came out and said he didn't like season 2 as well.

you know how in the comics the good side always has that villain thats like their main opponent(xmen=magneto, fantastic4=dr doom, etc.)? well i see him as that. he will always be their #1 villain.

My favorite character is Mr. Benett (Claire's dad). Not her biological dad Nathan Petrelli.

Does anyone know if it was Mr. Benett who shot Nathan in the end of the last episode of season 2? You neverget to see his face, but it kinda looked like him and the events he was a part of before that happened seemed like it could be him...

This is my theory but I put it in a spoiler just in case it's right and anyone doesn't want to get spoiled. Again, this is not fact but what I think.

I think it was their mom but I'm not sure. When the person walks away at the end they walk kinda like a girl and are built like a girl too. Also, remember she was crying at the end and talking about what had happened and that there would be consequences. Well have to wait and see who did it but my money is on her.

Heres my theroy about the killer
I think its Future Peter! Cause what if Nathan did tell the press about there superpowers! The world would go into panic!People would be calling them freaks and even try to kill them mabey? So I think it was Peter protecting them from something bad happening!

You'll have to watch Season 2 to understand Season 3. It may not be up to par as Season 1 but will still be worth it as Season 3 should be awesome.

Dave-The-Rave

I think its no question that season 3 will be awesome:

1: They have a proper number of episodes in the season.
2: The director himself admitted season 2 was rubbish, which gives the impression they'll try harder.
3: The end of season 2 gave this one a pretty awesome setup.

Supposedly, and I dunno if this is confirmed, I think it might be, (someone pipe up), that US and UK are meant to air the episodes at the same time, theres bound to be about a weeks difference between the two.

But if this rumor is true, then it will absolutley kick arse.

I was looking at a spoiler site last night and saw that there are only supposed to be 25 episodes and not 35 so I'm not sure what's going on there. The spoilers I read seem quite plausible but I want post them here to possibly ruin the show for anyone else. If anyone wants to know the site just PM and I'll tell you. I can't wait for the new season!

By the way, who else here downloads and reads the Heroes comics? I think they're great and they fill in many parts of the story that you didn't know before and let you see some things coming up as well.

Peter is my favorite character. I think it's cool that he can absorb others' abilities making him sort of the ultimate Hero technically speaking. I also find it interesting to see the struggles he goes through between his family and his powers while sort of dealing with destiny (i.e. when he finally had to cope with the powers of the nuclear guy in Season 1, forgot the guy's name).

Personally I didn't mind Season 2. Obviously it wasn't as good as Season 1, but in my opinion had the season had more time things would have been fully thought out, explained, and executed. They sort of had to rush some things. Just my thoughts though.

This'll be the only Series I'll watch on a consistent basis. I might watch prison break too because I've heard good things. Season 1 of Heroes was a classic and season 2 was okay but it wasn't as in-depth as I hoped (What with the strike an all).

Yea September will be a great month for TV but I haven't been much interested in anything lately so I substitute TV time for PSN time. Besides that, I'll be more interested in NFL than anything else on the tube.

Just thought I'd tell everyone that there are webisodes which show a sneak peek at some of the new characters.

Beginning this Monday, July 14, NBC.com will be hosting brand-new Heroes (http://uk.tv.ign.com/objects/827/827560.html) webisodes. The three-part webseries, entitled "Going Postal (http://uk.tv.ign.com/objects/142/14266034.html)," will follow Echo De Mille, a seemingly ordinary mailman with an extraordinary ability involving sound.

NBC tells us that in the webseries we will get an early glimpse of a new character with special powers and watch his destiny begin to unfold. The fast-paced, twist-filled web series will lead fans on a path to the premiere of the third season of Heroes, subtitled "Villains."

In the first webisode, "A Nifty Trick (http://uk.tv.ign.com/objects/142/14266035.html)," Echo DeMille discovers a startling ability that quickly makes him a target.

http://tvmedia.ign.com/tv/image/article/888/888320/heroes-webisode-goingpostal_1215804873.jpg - NBC.com

In the second webisode, "The Houseguest (http://uk.tv.ign.com/objects/142/14266036.html)," posting on July 21, Echo races home to protect his girlfriend Gina, and finds deadly uses for his new ability.

In the third webisode of this installment, "Let's Talk (http://uk.tv.ign.com/objects/142/14266037.html)," which posts on July 28, Echo sends Gina off to safety while he confronts his enemies, but the tables turn with an unexpected twist. Visitors to this year's Comic-Con will get a sneak peak at the epic conclusion at the Heroes panel on Saturday, July 26th.

As glimpsed in the trailer below, also making an appearance in "Going Postal" is none other than Angela Petrelli (Cristine Rose), mother of Nathan and Peter.

Heroes season three is scheduled for a two-hour premiere on September 22.

Haven't watched it yet myself, but will get to it now.
