I thought it would be a good idea to have a place where people can get sshd trophy tips, so state the specified trophy and your walktrough or top tip.
SuperStardust HD
Close Encounters:
Remember not to use your fire, bombs or boost.
Pick a single direction and stick to it.
Rather than using all you concentration to avoid the rocks and go in circles, look for paths through the rocks.
Dont pay attention to the clock, it will put you off.
Keep going. It took me 30 mins straight to finally get the trophy, but I did it in the end.
Scenic Route
Arcade - Complete A planet without using boost.
The Gold Melter is your best friend. If you get in a tight spot, use either it or bombs.
For me, the easiest planet was Coventia, solely because the rocks there are mainly gold.
Don't try to get Scrooge MacBoom or any of the other bomb-related trophies at the same time, because I guarantee you're gonna use a crapload of bombs.
Hero of Lave
Arcade - Complete planet Lave
Well, there's really not much I can say for these tropies; just avoid everything.
When you get to phase 5, the boss will appear. It's some sort of mothership thing. To defeat it, you need to hit all five of it's glowing spots around it.
Sometimes, the glowing spots will disappear, which means he's about to attack. Just dodge the bullets; you can't destroy them.
When you destroy one of the lights, he'll unleash a TON of bullets :pale Not to worry, though. All you have to do is go to the opposite side of the planet; the bullets will disappear before they reach you.
Hero of Coventia
Arcade - Complete planet Coventia
I'm only going to go through the boss, since it's essentially the same idea as Lave.
The boss in phase 5 is, well... hard to explain. Think of it as a one-eyed crab without a body, only pincers.
Your goal is to hit the eye in the middle (which is MUCH harder than it sounds).
He has two projectile attacks: Bullets (which can't be destroyed) and Missiles (which CAN be destroyed).
If you get too close, he'll trap you with his pincers and unleash a hoard of bullets and missiles. Yeah, you're pretty much screwed.
If you're using the Rock Crusher or the Ice Splitter, then just shoot at his eye. I recommend the Ice Splitter out of these two, because of it's great range.
If you're using the Gold Melter, this will be a little different. Instead of just shooting blindly, you have to find a "sweet spot" where you're just barely able to touch him, so you're not too close, not to far. When you manage to find this, he's as good as dead.
Scrooge Macboom & Well Prepared
Arcade - Get 10 (or 20, depending on which) bombs.
The biggest tip? USE BOOST LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW.
Well, also, the only way I know of to get bombs is to kill the ships with the two green canisters on it. The best way to do this is to use the Gold Melter; It'll take care of it in 2 seconds.
Never use bombs; only boost.
The Tokenizer & Token Hoarder
Arcade - Get 5 (15) tokens with a single boost.
The best time to do this is in phase 3 or 4. Break all the big rocks into little pieces, then get in the middle and use a bomb. With any luck, loads of tokens (probably points) will appear. Now just boost.

No, only games that are patched right now will have trophy support (SSHD & maybe Warhawk). Until you get a game update patch you won't have it and it also means that you'll know when you have trophy support for a given game.

WarHawk does not have it until later this month (hopefully) and its in the next patch after 1.4.......

I'm trying to get the Close Encounters trophy... It says that you can't use weapons or bombs.... doesn't that mean that you can boost though?
EDIT: just done it now and whilst I did use boost I think it was past the 45 second mark...
Token Horder
If you have the solo-add on pack, an other great way to get this is in endless mode. Right after you hit a nuke and everything blows up, you will just be left with a lot of tokens. Try and get them to follow you in a line and then boost into them.

close encounters was the easiest for me, did it first time, 46 seconds.

You were playing on the wrong mode then. Note that it says "Survival" and not "Arcade", you have to be playing in one of the expansion pack modes to be able to get that 7 minute trophy.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get the Expansion Bomb trophy? The one that requires you to get 15 bombs in Bomber mode. It's proving to be hell, the closest I can get to 15 bombs is 12, then I get overwhelmed by everything on the screen.

It's " Endless" mode for the 7 minutes trophy btw.
I'm stuck on "Late Boomer" too. closest i've came is 13 bombs.

I can't even get to there, I think my best is around the 5 and a half minute mark. I have no idea why this is only bronze, it's hard as hell. \

Sort of sounds familiar.
And to be honest, that's really a downside of the 'next-gen' systems.... not the trophies, but the wireless controllers that are easily thrown against walls out of frustration....

For this, you have to go on Arcade mode not Planet mode. Arcade mode goes through every level until you die keeping the same number of bombs, lives, weapon damage etc. If you start from the first level and don't use any bombs, you should get the 10-bomb trophy in the second level and the 20-bomb trophy in the third or fourth level (that 15 bomb trophy is for a mode in the solo-add-on pack ;))

I got as close as 14 bombs with a shield up, and I thought "I got this!"....unluckily for me, I coulnd't find any more ships with bombs, and I just got pwnd fast.

Hold on.
The little crab creature, I found it much easier to go right up to it w/ the Gold Melter and shoot it in the eye. Let it trap you inside, and then avoid the green lasers (very easy). This way you have a constant shot on the red eye and he dies much quicker.
Also, to get the 15 tokens, you want to go to the 2nd planet (the Gold one - Coventia I think), and in the first level you will get the bonus opportunity. You'll see a hexagon w/ the #15 or 16 in it, shoot that, then another hexagon will come up with a # that is 1 less. Keep doing this. After you shoot #1, then a huge bonus green rock will come. DO NOT USE A BOMB HERE. JUST BOOST RIGHT THROUGH THE CENTER of it and you should get 15 tokens. If you dont, just quit and start that planet over right away, because its the first thing that happens on Phase 1.

I think Token Horder must be completed in Arcade.
I got to 9x multiplier (couldn't have been far off 10) then promptly died. I lobbed the controller at a wall :)
If you don't die and you shoot enough stuff, you can get it by mid/late 3rd planet. I managed to get all of my weapons to full power by the 2nd planet, and just was collecting the appropriate boosts at all times. I used less than half of the recommended time for each one, so obviously if you take a bit longer it'll take a few more stages.
TIP: Bomb near the bosses that suck in rocks. You'll get the points that otherwise would have been destroyed by the flying saucer(s). Also, you can get it on easy mode, which is considerably easier than normal (hence why I was able to get full power so soon). Upgrade rock crusher primarily, but occassionally grab a gold melter. Avoid ice splitters on the first level since you won't need them till the 3rd planet. On the 2nd planet collect gold melters primarily, and a few ice splitters, so that it's like 50% or greater power.
Pattern in case you didn't realize it already:
Rock > Gold > Ice > Rock. Of course each token starts at a different initial point, but you see what I mean. Dodge the ice tokens and it will change to a rock crusher token in just a few seconds.
co-op expansion??? There is only 1 add-on for SSHD which includes co-op.... or i am going crazy???
It's been announced but no release. It's gotta be a special mode or something where you have like 100% to start off with, I can't see picking up weapon tokens as fast as possible to keep up a 3 minute weapon overload between 2 people.

Incognito said that WarHawk would have trophies for previous achievments in the game and new ones. That it would take into account for all the time you have already put in! I guess thats why it wasnt patched as quick as Sony or who ever said it would.
Also try this site for tips...worked well for me I have 11 so far.....

Here's how to get the last one, courtesy of PS3 Fnboy ;)
Split screen Co-op - Get 3 minutes of continuous Co-Op weapon boost on Segomo
Gold | Difficulty: Very Easy
Quite possibly the easiest Trophy in the game, and it's a Gold one too. You won't need an extra friend, just an extra controller. Start split screen co-op (not standard co-op) and choose Segomo. When you start the level, stay close to each other, so that you see a stream between the both ships. Simply wait for three minutes and the Trophy will unlock. DO NOT SHOOT ANYTHING. Enemies will not be triggered so long as all the asteroids are intact. If need be, move both your ships in the same direction to avoid getting hit.
Does split-screen co-op require another add-on, I can't find it anywhere??

No platinum trophy for you my friend. PSN titles don't have platinum trophies, only the Blu-Ray games (although I suppose there would dtill be platinum trophy in the Warhawk download0
Hey, for anyone stuck on that 7 minute trophy I found a glitch. When you get those enemies that are really hard to kill with gold melter (the orb type things)(the ones that will hesitate back if you fire at them but will charge at you when your back is turned) what you should do is equip the gold melter and just keep rotating the right analogue stick in a circle. They will simply just circle around the beam and because your not killing them, no other rocks or enemies will spawn.

Extra ships optional
- There comes a part in the level where those ice blocks appear everywhere, and you are chased by orange snake-like creatures. In this area, you are safe AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT KILL THESE CREATURES. This is about 6 minutes in mind. But get to here, and DON'T KILL THEM, and you can easily make it to 7 minutes.

Yeah, with that 15 token one, you should try the 2nd planet and when you get the bonus, try and line yourself up with the middle of it. If you do it right, you should be left with hardly any tokens that you didn't collect.
Also I found that there is a counter. If you are quick enough, you can go back to where the rock is and it will say in small-ish words how many you got in a row. It shows you on the video above
Yeah that 15 bombs one is hard as hell, I can only get 11

Endless, try to boost into nukes and dodge/run away from those red triangle things. Use the meleter to melt them but be careful as mlions appear at once, this goes for 10 nukes and 7 minutes.

For some reason I am not getting any trophies. I lasted in Survival for 48s and got nothing. I beat a the first planet without using boost or bombs and got nothing. Whats up with that?
Did you pick up any time icons? It needs to be 45 REAL seconds.
And for boosts and bombs did you do it on arcade? And are you sure you didn't trigger boost by mistake.

Maybe you haven't updated to FW 2.4 because it's still down.

This may seem like a really silly question, but one of the trophies for SSD says you need to play the game in split-screen co-op, but that's not an option available to me. Before anyone asks, I already have the only expansion pack released in the Canadian store. I had heard of a multiplayer pack, but that was never released, at least not on my store. The Canadian and American stores are identical, so did I miss something here? All I see when I go into the View All section of the PS Store is the full game for SSD and the one expansion, nothing else. The expansion I've got is the Solo expansion. I've called a few buddies and they too only see those two options, nothing about a multiplayer pack.
Anyone know what's up with that or is there another way to get split-screen to work?
Thanks in advance for the info.

You need to concentrate, boost into the nukes one by one and as quickly as possible. Dodge alot, shoot alot, watch every enimie. Destroy the enimies like the red and blue rocks that follow you in billions. You should get it. By the way you have to be excellent in the game to get it.
If anybody is struggling with the 10 nukes one, i can't really set out a guide for you to follow, you just have to get better at the game.
Try doing arcade mode on normal difficulty.

Yeah, you need to wait until the Team-mode add-on is released again to the PS Store, they took it down for some reason.

I was in the in-game store the first night that 2.4 and 4.00 came out and there was an option to buy both expansion packs. I was hoping they'd sell both for a little cheaper when packaged together, so I didn't buy it. Now there is only an option to buy 1. They must have pulled the multiplayer one.

Did you get one just for beating the first planet? If not, then make sure you have FW 2.4 and version 4.0 for SSHD.
The survival one has to be done without boost as well. I did it with boost and did get it but got it once I did it without boost.
Can the arcade ones (stages, 5 shields, 20 bombs, etc) be done in easy as well as normal? I've been doing it on normal but if they can be done on easy I might as well do that :D

SSHD is fairly hard, I have done the first three planets on easy, very fun. The game is mightily addicting. Next I will be going for the boost and bomb trophies. One helpful tip I can give is to upgrade your weapons as quickly as possible, especially the rock crusher and ice melter (blue one).

2 stages? Just stages or do you mean planets cause it is roughly about a whole planet between 9x to 10x, anyway sorry that it is frustrating you :( Like me with the bomber one, i have now tried that 305 times :|

when you get to the boss on SSHD the one with the two long arms, once it turns away and does nothing , go right up to it , the arms will close, keep shooting , but dodge the green bullets, its easy , and works PERFECT ! FAST FAST FAST ! i just did it, after i got my 10x trophy.

I got the 10x Multiplier Gold Trophy without too much trouble. Just start on easy and don't die :) Don't collect extra Ships, wait for it to degrade to a shield, then if you get hit you wont lose your multiplier. I managed to get the 10x on one of the phases on the 4th planet.
The survive 7 mins on Endless mode trophy quite tricky, I've spent around 5 hours just trying this trophy alone and i've managed around 6 mins  Bit annoying there is no timer on there either.

I'm finding the destroy 10 nukes one to be very tricky. Is there a way to get the nukes to appear more quickly? Or is it purely a waiting game with them?

It's pretty much all about endurance, timing, speed, and a waiting game at the same time...

A little ways into it when ships start to appear, use the gold melter in circles fast. The ships will just orbit you since they can't get close enough, and no asteroids or anything will spawn. So you'll be thrusting that analog stick in circles for seven minutes, but it works!

Not sure if it's been said before, but in close encounters you can use boost, just not fre weapons or use bombs. The 1st post should be edited so people don't get confused and take longer to get it, cause boost does help.
Oh, and if you pick up time tokens they don't count towards yourtime for the trophy.I had 47 seconds and thought I'd get the throphy, but I checked and it said my session time was only 43 seconds and didn't count it. (You can view session time using L1/R1 on the leaderboards).

Well heres what I wrote on the other threads. Hope it helps.
Endless: 10 Nukes, Works for 7 minutes also.
1. Does surviving longer on 1 ship bring out nukes more quickly? Or do the nukes drop at scheduled timed intervals? Or perhaps depending on your score?
- I believe its timed, but sometimes I feel its random. Once I blew one up, and after the second wave of rocks a nuke came down real quick. Not really sure about this but timing is the best possibility.
2. Does anyone have any benchmarks, like "must have at least 8 bombs by the 3rd nuke", something like that? This could help.
- Try to rack up as many bombs as you can. I had 25 bombs racked up and a few seconds later it went to 9. Very hectic at the end. Without plenty of bombs your chances are very slim.
3. Since this isn't a multiplier challenge, a Ship token is obviously more valuable than a Shield token, right?
- You can get both (maybe its luck?). On my try I saw 2 ship tokens, I grabbed one and let the other one turn to a shield. Shield is definitely needed.
4. What do you do when swarms and waves of enemies come landing down on you? Bomb, boost, bomb, boost, rinse and repeat?
- All of the above. See a nuke rush towards it and use a bomb.
5. Do you constantly switch weapons to adjust to the varying enemies, or do you tend to stick with one powerful defense or offense, like the swirling 100% Gold Meter?
- Won't work if you just swirl with the gold meter. Rock Crusher and Gold Melter are you first choices. On the ice and gold rocks use the Gold Melter. Boulders use the Rock Crusher. The Ice Splitter only works great if you can get it to 200% and using it against the ice, other than that no point to it.
6. Which enemies do you find the hardest and how do you fight them? For me, this would be the fast, white/silver worms with red heads. I don't know whether to use Gold Meter or Ice Breaker on them, because they're tougher than the green worms and they typically approach me at all angles, fast.
- Gold Melter against the Red "worms", Green Worms, and the Red Triangle thingies.
--The Green Worms aren't hard. You can use a bomb, but try to do it when there are plenty around.
--The Red Worms are a *********. Use bombs and boost to help you out.
--Red Triangle's: You can kill these with the Gold Melter without using anything else. When it comes down you can try to get it to follow you in a straight line. This way its easy to destroy them, but if it surrounds you than Bombs away.
--When you see a nuke, destroy it ASAP. You can boost through it and it destroys it quicker. When you have 9 nukes destroyed, don't hold back on Bombs.
Late Bloomer:
Takes pure luck.
1) Follow the first ship.
---Get infront of the ship just before the red mines come down. If you get lucky the red mines will hit the rocks and blow the ship along with it giving you 2 bombs without using any.
---If you can't get it that way, just keep following the ship until the second ship drops. Hope it drops near the first one. If it does blow both.
To me you have to get 13 or 14 bombs in 2 ships (14 is hard, very hard to get without using a bomb).
The rest is dodge and weave slowly, and pray the ships drop near you. Hate it when I'm at 14 bombs and a ship drops few inches away that I have no way of getting to it. Then it goes the opposite way.
FINALLY!!!!!!!!! All the pieces came together.
-Followed the first ship, weaved, and the second ship landed near it. BOOM!! Got 13 bombs now.
-Move slowly, dodging everything until the third ship comes. When the third ship is about to come, first green rocks will drop along with orange and red mines. Most of the mines will blow, and if your lucky the 3rd ship will drop near you. BOOM!!! 14 bombs.
(if your lucky all the explosions from the mines will also destroy the ship without you using any, giving you 15 bombs)
-Now its all about dodging and surviving long enough. (Say a prayer, even if you don't believe http://ps3forums.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif ). Seems like forever, but eventually, and HOPEFULLY the 4rth ship will drop close enough that you can blow it up and get your 15th bomb.
-Tip
-DO NOT get trapped inside the blue barriers. Its basically a death trap. Movement is limited severely, but you can still manage to get out when the red mines land.
-Also you can use these blue barriers to your advantage.
---When outside one, get close to it so some of the rocks that fall get trapped in the blue barrier.
So, good luck and have patients because it is needed.

choose splitscreen co-op, take 2 controllers, choose last stage (yes the last stage) and evade the icicles for 3minutes while keeping ships close to each other. Dont shoot them, enemies will not spawn if the icicles stay intact.
For Pixel junk eden:
15 x combo:
Call your friend play 2 player game, go to garden 3.
Best place for the combo is on the "rock" where you can crow giant flower that swings from left to right,
Try to gather as many pollen powlers there and keep the "enemy" alive untill there are enough powlers.
Then kill the enemy and try to do as big combo as you can. (the enemy will give +8 to combo if you can fully kill it, add this to the pollen powlers and you should get 15, if not the player who started the combo can do few bounces on the rock to give other player a chance to increase the combo, if this fails try quickly to fall down and hit as many powlers on your way down.
also bossible with 1p but heck of a lot easier with 2 or 3 players.
500 dead pollen powlers
choose stage one and keep doing combos untill your is nearly depleted, then find bigger crystals.
and when all the areas crystals are used, go to next area where you can find them or near the first spectra.
Just try killing the pollen carriers or powlers or what ever they are and savor up the time. It takes time so be patient. You might also get 100 thousander if you keep killing them long enough after achieving the 500 dead pollen powlers. Not a hard trophy just needs patience.

Sorry if this has already been posted but you can get quite a lot more pollen per prowler if you use the Sixaxis down-move above it. So if prowlers are scarce this might help.
