Welcome Thread

This may sound crazy, but I've seen on some forums that there is a welcome thread where people can introduce themselves. It's just an idea though, and you can call me stupid. :)

Not a bad idea, except for the fact that it welcomes spam.

It would however reduce the countless "Im new here" threads.

Yep I like the idea. It sounds like a good way of consolidating all those welcome threads. So rather than having everyone post seperate 'I'm new here' threads they all post in one. Oh and Welcome to the Boards Evilcornflake. :wink:

lol, this was the first thing that came to mind when i first came here, so later I noticed this thread and I thought i'd make a suggestion :).
