animated themes?

the original ps3 theme is animated so it must be possible .maybe it will come with a future update. any one know anything or heard any rumours?:dunce:dunce

Well .gifs don't work as a background, and last time i even stored a .gif on the PS3 it wasn't animated, only showed the first frame. Maybe in a future update, but i doubt Sony are working on it at all.

Currently, animated / video backgrounds aren’t possible, however this is definitely something that I’d personally like to see allowed for future updates, so fingers-crossed!

I guess if someone is Sony wants it, this is a chance, but it doesnt look like it'll be any time soon (2 months I'd say at least)
