I have a motorola phone charger, and it seems to work with my ps3 controller. Do you think this would cause any problems with it? I like to charge the controller when using it, and I can sit more than two feet from my ps3. Just wondering if it anyone knows if it would hurt anything.

I have been doing this for close to a year and have not had a single issue. I think any USB plug is fine.

i am not using the usb plug. I am using the one that plugs into an outlet. :confused:

As long as it is a mini USB you're fine.

Exactly, that is a USB, just a different size.
