Okay so I know this movie is 2 years old but I just flicked over and happened to hit the movie at the point where the family is attacked in the camper. Now I did see this film at the theater when it came out and even bought the DVD,but I have to say the scenes that take place inside the camper with the 2 daughters and mother are prolly the most intense I have ever seen. Every time I see that I just can't believe it andjust feel sorry for the dude losing his wife. I can't thinkof any other horror flick that had such intense scenes like that, can you?

You can't even call it a horror flick. Horror flicks are supposed to be somewhat fun. That scene is so sick and disturbing. At the time I saw it, my wife was breastfeeding my newborn daughter so I'm sure I am extra bias, but man, that is some crazy sh**. I really didn't like the movie, but that scene will stick with me for quite some time.

I made the mistake of taking my wife to see this film, when I bought the DVD and wanted to play it one day, she begged me not to play it because of that scene. We wound up getting into a argument about it and she was adamant that she did not want to be in the house when the movie was on, she was that disturbed by it. I told her to go take a walk while I watch it, that didn't go down to well...

I didn't find it as disturbing as Hostel but yeah when i first saw it it was pretty bad.

I now own it on Blu-ray

ha!! u should see the rape scene in the second movie its even more graphic, but i think both movies were extremely bad especially the sequel
the only part that i like from first movie was when the guy was looking for his daughter....now that was intense i was holding my breath in some parts

The worst part about the sequal for me was watching them fall off mountain sides because around its time of release i did the same thing but survived.. the trick is to not land on your head.
