Can anyone point me in the direction of some good vector art programs/tutorials? I really want to get into it but i don't know where to start.

Depending on what you want to do, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro are all pretty good.

IMO Illustrator and Photoshop are the easiest to use in terms of being versatile and PSP is good for beginners, but since it's not a dedicated vector prog like Illustator, it's very limited. Some people also prefer flash.

^That guy makes video tutorials so they're easier to follow, but he has a habit of talking more than he needs :p

Yes, I know. PSP definitely isn't only for vectors though. It's very limited when it comes to making vector graphics, like I said.

Yeah, I'd have to say I'm one of the ones who like flash because thats my job. But its got a different style from the others so thats why I enjoy it.

illustator is really the only true vector program out of those listed.

By the way, Inkscape is an open source and free true vector program, but I haven't used it.
