Getting ps3 tomorrow 16th :D

Few questions..

1. How long will it take me roughy, and what will be needed of me to set up my internet connection, and any other things when i turn on my ps3 for the first time, before i can start playing rainbow six las vegas2 :P

2. Do i have to open any ports on my computer, so that my ps3 can connect into my internet connection?

3. I've just registered on my pc, the online id thing and ps3 online store account thing (online gamin id too) but how come my m8 cannot find me when he tries to add me? have i got to turn on my ps3 and register it there too?

help would be appreciated lads ;)

To set up your net, about 2 mins, but u need a PSN account which could take around 10mins but thats all.

2. Do i have to open any ports on my computer, so that my ps3 can connect into my internet connection? You shouldnt need to.

3. Yeah you have to activate it on the PS3 i think, like confirming it i guess.

1: from memory about between 15-30 mins depends if you download the latest FW.

2: shouldnt do i have never had any probs

3: yes

If you got an HDTV make sure to buy some HD cables. (component cables or hdmi cable) Because the ps3 dont come with these.
