What's SOHK stand for? It's a question we get asked a lot. Technically speaking, SOHK stands for School of Hard Knocks, but as a group, we stand for a lot more. We are at the forefront, a team first clan. Individual stats don't mean much to us; the only stat any of us really care about is the team win. Working together as a tactical unit playing off each others strengths and compensating for our weaknesses is the whole point of being in a clan versus playing with a bunch of randoms. Having said that, we don't yell at each other about losing a match. Fun is our ultimate goal, and without that, what's the point in playing?

If you're interested in becoming a member, there are a few things we expect of you. One of the most important things we ask you to do is to stay active on our clan's forum. It's the primary way we communicate to all members about upcoming events such as practices, inter-clan tournaments, special events and... well, you name it. We also post important info about clan membership and other things so visiting the site weekly or daily will keep you in touch.

The other thing we ask is that you stay active in clan games. Why join a clan if you aren't going to play? It sounds ridiculous, but it happens more than we'd like. We're a clan, not a friends list. Since the PS3 only allows up to 50 friends, space is limited. If you aren't on and being an active team player, you might turn your PS3 on to find your friends list pretty bare.

One thing we don't tolerate is sexism, racism, or people disrespectful of others or their religious beliefs. We have both male and female members from all sorts of social and economical background. To drive home how important being respectful of others is to us, we have a zero tolerance policy and unfortunately we've had to exercise it a handful of times.

We have a lot to offer. Our site has plenty of stuff from in-game strategies, funny things to try in clan supported games, a place to talk about stuff like TV shows and comic books or whatever your interested in, and the latest news on games, movies, music, and sports. We also have funny videos, pictures, jokes, and all that sort of stuff to keep you busy. If you don't find what you want to talk about, you are encouraged to start up your own topic in the appropriate section.

Those that are interested in joining should register. Register youtr account under your PSN name to avoid confusion !! Once you are approved, check out our pinned topics in each section, they are full of useful information. We also ask that you head over to our Briefing Room for training. Basically we'll show you the ropes of how we do things and to help orientate you. It will also give you a chance to meet some of our veteran players as well as our new recruits. We have a forum created for Friends List members to shoot the breeze and create events and all sorts of fun stuff. If you're looking to make friends thru PSN and Forum this could be for you. Do you play every night ? Are you looking for normal people to game w/, you know, guys that play fairly and use teamwork in objective games ? Do you not care about stats and just the Win ?? Check us out. We game COD4, Madden, Army of Two, GTAIV, BF:BC, and others. We used to be a COD4 clan of 120 but we separated into 3 groups. My group wanted to play all sorts of games so here we are. We have about 30 members and 20 of us have been gaming together for over 9 months. We have about 10-12 newly accepted members and we're looking to add more.

The Forum is called The Sandlot. We create Private events for us to do such as Knife battles, Pistols only, and all sorts of games. We also have a Madden season going. We use the forum to shoot the breeze and get to know each other which further improves the gameplay. If you can be cordial, online every night and are lookin for normal cats to play w/ check it out you wont be disappointed. If you dont put the time in you're wasting your time.
