YouTube - Star Wars - The Clone Wars - "Like You Never Seen It Before"
I've not really paid much attention to this yet, but just saw a trailer on TV for for it. I think the trailer doesn't look all that bad really plus I love the music.
Wasn't all that convinced with the Clone Wars series though [It's much better on repeated watching imbedded in the films], so I'm gonna see what this is like. But being a Star Wars fan I'm sure I'll love it.
Thoughts?

Its Star Wars I've had it, they've destroyed my craving for new stories with EP II and III. I'm convinced that George Lucas has lost his mind.

Sorry, I missed this thread. Lol, I know the feeling of bumping your own thread. I've felt the same about my own heh.
Anyway, I thought the Clone Wars animated series was nice and had a fun touch that the movies didn't show. I saw the trailer for this a little while back I think with the Speed Racer movie in theaters.
Looks pretty cool, I'm excited to see it. I love these war epics, especially with sweet, badass Jedi fighting. I do agree with Stewie to an extent, Hayden Christensen really killed off II and III for me. As long as he's not in this it should do good. It would be nice though if Ewan McGregor, Samuel L. Jackson, and Frank Oz voiced their roles as they do a great job.

I'm excited. Unlike most, I really like the newer ones. I also loved the clones wars mini-episodes.

Just checked. Matt Lanter who did the voice for Anakin in the animated mini-series is doing the voice work for this CGI counterpart. Also, Samuel is doing Mace and Christopher is doing Count Dooku.
No word on Ewan/Obi-Wan though.
So if people liked the mini-series then this CGI portion should be just as good.

This music that you like (From the trailer) is the original 1977 Starwars score composed by John Williams. By no means is it new.
But yes, it's truly beautiful. I first fell in love with John William's music while watching Star Wars. I was only 5 at the time when I first saw Star Wars 12 years ago...

I liked the new ones too, minus Hayden's involvement (He did better in III). What I liked most (that most seem to miss, maybe not true star wars fans) is how it drastically expanded and added more life to the Starwars Universe.
The Jedi Order, the new planets, species and scope of the films. The Clone Wars.
Lucas may not be Spielberg in terms of directing, but he's brilliant nonetheless.
