Best Ferrell movie? Man, I'd probably go with A Night at the Roxbury. When will we see the dynamic duo of Ferrell and Kattan again?
Come out of your sabbatical Kattan we need you to do the Mango movie!

He's the same character in every movie...so picking one is like picking them all.
A Night at the Roxbury is his best work though.

Anchorman.
It's called Sex Panther. It's made with a bits of real panther so you know it's good. Works 60% of the time, every time.

Anchorman is my favorite so far, followed closely by Old School.
I think Step Brothers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Step_Brothers_%28film%29) may be the new king though when it comes out, it looks f'n hilarious!

SNL started him in movies, really kicked off his career with A Night at the Roxbury which was a skit in SNL.

A Night at the Roxbury would be my pick. His latest movies have sucked and Step Brothers looks like it's going to be dumb as well.

"It's illegal in (whatever the number was) states."
Brick: "One time I ate insulation. It wasn't cotton candy like the man said it was."
"Brick... where did you get a hand grenade?"
"There's a party in my pants, and your invited."
"Ladies and gentlemen, I have a very important announcement to make... CANNON BALL!!!!"

Probly Old School
Hes completely unfunny now.
Hes the exact same character in all his films except a few changes here are there. Everything i laughed at on Anchorman wasnt from him but from people like Steve Carell and Paul Judd.
Most recent movie where i found him funny was Elf.
He really needs to take a break from movies and work on his act imo.

when you think about it most actors are the same in every movie they do

I have to go with Chaz in Wedding Crashers, or him running down the street in old school! :D
I just watched Stranger than Fiction tonight. I enjoyed it a lot.
So I chose other.

Elf is the only movie I've liked him in. I think he is the worst comedian I've ever witnessed in all my days.

I think he seems to be the same, as he's just being himself... more or less. And i love that, i will go see a film just because he is in it... and if he was completely different, i would be disappointed.
Oh yeah. ANCHORMAN!
