Help - Update to 2.35 Stalled

Trying to update to the latest version. The update went fine until it got to the screen that stated "Press the PS button". Pressing the PS button does not do anything. It's my understanding that during the update the PS button is disabled...at least I read that somewhere. I've tried the PS button on both the controller and my remote control but nothing works. Any help is solving this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Try attaching the controller with the USB cable. Sometimes the PS3 resets the controller synchronization when you do firmware updates.

Thanks for the reply. I did that last night to no avail. This morning I tried another usb cable and presto, it worked. Thanks for your suggestion.
