Ok im going to take back my 60 gig ps3 i bought from costco when it first came out so i can get a refund and buy the new MGS4 bundle.. I will save about 250 bucks..
Question is how do i save all the stuff on my 60 gig ps3 so i can transfer it to my 80 gig? Has anyone had to do this yet. Im worried i will lose all my saved game data. And have to restart all my games again... Any advice??/

well you have to put all the game saves on a memroy card..
and call up costco and ask them if they are still doing this.
i read on another site a while back that they stoped doing this..

use the backup utility to back up your data to a USB drive.

yea costco changed there policy on there refunds but i bought mine before they did so i am cool. If you bought it when they changed it you have like 90 days but if you bought it before they did you still get honored with there old policy.. SWEET!!
So all i have to do is transfer all my saved data to a memory stick? Like a memory stick duo or anything?

No just Costco............
And threads like this are the reason the policy has ended. HDTV's were even worse......

*Sigh*
There is a forums specifically for this here (http://ps3forums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=115). It'll probably be moved though anyways.
Answer:
Step 1: Buy some sort of high capacity USB storage device. Insert into the said port.
Step 2: Go to: Settings > System Settings > Backup Utility > Back Up on your current PS3 model.
Step 3: Remove storage device, insert it in the new console and go to through the same settings as above except go to 'restore' option instead of 'Back Up'. That should pretty much do it for you.
Hope that helped.
