Yes, every button works other than those ones.

I am assuming you have tried plugging it in via the USB right?

press PS button. How much battery life does it have? Is it assigned to the number 1 controller (in a single player game)? As the guy above me said, try plugging in via usb cable. That's 'bout all I got.

Battery is full. The console recognises the buttons, they appear, just nothing works - they do nothing

sorry dude. Have you tried calling SONY or using another controller?
