My bank points

I had... 7,000 in there (I remember because i had just reached enough money, combined with selling my icons to get a custom username thing), but i want my points back! There must be a way to restore the points we had before...
Also, as it is in the right section, could someone check up on my Psu problem of not logging in?
P.s. Do we get interest every midnight?!?!? It looks like that when i go into the bank...
P.p.s is it true that if i sell a icon, i lose points? I hope not...

You won't be getting your points back. At all. The same applies to every other member on this forum. It would be near impossible to gather all the information from every member, plus there are bound to be a few who will exaggerate how many points they had. I do believe, however, that Seb is working on something to calculate members points.

I think you misunderstood part of my comment. I was referring to the Great Depression. Sorry I should have capitalized it. It was in the 1920's when the stock market crashed and people lost millions upon millions that they had in the banks.

I sold my icon back to the shop, and then deposited my points into the bank. If you keep doing that while the system is on the blink, then you're at least 99% guaranteed that your money is safe.

I heard that you get less points per icon you have, so if i sell my icons, i will get more points? Correct?

Some members lost over 100,000 points. Everyone lost all their points, think of it as a giant reset. You'll be able to get the points back in no time, just keep plugging away and before you know it you'll get your 7000 back.

Supposedly the bank works right now. I have been putting my points in there when I think about it. Every time I put 1000 together, I'll buy an icon though. For now it seems like icons are the new bank.

The points are being reset once every 12 hours or so. When you get points, PUT THEM IN THE BANK! They'll be safe there.

They're trying to come up with an algorithm to determine SP. It's not fully functional yet. The points will reset to zero again though, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

The points system has changed a bit...
It used to be say 74.64 points
Now it is 75. points
EDIT:20 points for registering
10 points per referral
5 points per post
20 points per thread
0.01 points per character
[-1000] points per icon.
This means, per post i will get 5+10-1,000=-985 points

I don't think this is per post formula. I think he's just using this to restore the points back.

So like 3,000 posts= 15,000 points
10 icons = -10000 points
You'd get 5000 points

You'd also have to throw in the calculations for characters in each post and some might be created threads, but you get the gist.

Your icons are still there. They are just disabled at the moment.

If you click "Gotmilk's Icons" on the left under your post detail area you can still view them too.

I just noticed, and the bank is giving me 0.0018%, not 0.2%. Is this a known issue, or is this something that shouldn't be happening?
