Connecting a PS3 to a PC monitor...

If I have an HDMI cable already, all I need is a HDMI to DVI converter/adapter to connect my PS3 to my monitor?

Once I do that I go into the Display Settings and change the resolution.

Is it as easy as that?

Then connect Logitech USB headset and change Audio Output settings to Headset.

Is this all that is required? Or am I missing something that is going to blow up my PS3?

I have an DVI to HDMI adaptor to hook-up my PC to my TV. I'll see if I can just flip it around and use it to hook up my PS3 to my PC monitor.

I can't check until I get home from work (6hrs or so) but I'll post back here what I find out.

I thought the DVI was on the monitor rather than the graphics card? :S

It is almost as easy as that:

1. The video mode your PS3 is in must be supported by the monitor already.
2. The monitor must be HDCP-capable.
