New (Useful) Usergroups

One thing that sorta dissapoints me about these forums is the complete lack of multiple Usergroups. At writing, the only ones available to join are Administrators, Design Squad, Forum Staff, and the Senior Members Council. All are good, necessary groups, but not one that your average schmo can join. We need some that anyone can join through a PM to the group's leader. Some ideas are:

Xbox Haters Club
Clans (not unlike online games, maybe we can call them something else)
Three Console Owner's Club
Gran Turismo Group

...and whatnot. I think these would get pretty popular. We should have a limit of only three clubs one person can join, and a limit of one someone can start. This avoids having 500+ usergroups. We could have a thriving community set up pretty quickly. What do you guys think?

no, plain as that no. i dont think it should be i mean user groups for nothing, then a usergroup would mean nothing. get it everyone would be in a group and divided up but no one would care anymore about usergroups. just dont see it needed. if anything we should have a clan group, member that represent ps3forums as a clan in several games. but still dont think its needed at all.

The idea came up a while back...actually by me. I said we should allow members to form their own usergroups.

But for the precise reason soldier one gave, it would simply split the community.

Yeah, it sounds good. The review team. Maybe they could be the ones in charge of renting-reviewing games.
The group might be in charge of accesoriy reviews also.
