Nothing Useful to spend points on

There isn't enough useful things in the shop up for purchase.Sure, colors are cool and everything, but other than that, avatar, signature privelages, and member title, there's nothing there useful.

And whats your point? Did you just make this thread to tell us how you feel? The admins cant do anything unless you tell them what you would like them to do.
Personally, i think that there is plenty to spend points on.

i think something that would be cool to add is having another smile set, like you get the basic ones we have but you can buy new ones if you want, like those generation smileys they have.

I think we should be allowed to purchase name changes, and also be able to give away points too, all I could think of right now.

You can give points to other users, just you have to do it through trading. For example, you want to give a user 500 Skill Points for making you a sig and avatar, then you could go here (http://www.ps3forums.com/shop_actions.php?action=trade), and offer 500 Skill Points for nothing.

Feel free to post any suggestions of things to add to the shop, I'd definitely be interested in hearing them.

I would say for , high posting members I would allow once you get 15,000 points you can upgrade your kb siz for your sig, and avatar!

Maybe there should be some kind of chatting option in the forums, sort of MSN, Yahoo or AIM. SO if you want to unlock it, you have to buy it from the shop with a certain number of skill points. Maybe a friend list could be very very useful.

i dont like the idea of chat but your onto something with the freind list. it would be cool to buy one and be able to use it. also mabe a game wishlist we can buy and add our games along with games we want.

I got a great idea. In another forum (unavailable teporarily) there was an arcade section with various minigames. Some of them were yetisports or sonic flash.
Here is my idea:
If the forums can get the arcade section, we might have a high score ranking, the top 3 players could get some extra skill points, like 20 for 3rd, 50 for 2nd and 100 for 1st.

ive seen some forums like that, but like we discussed this for a long time before with mods and admins. anyways we came out to discover many flaws with it, and fixes just came out with another flaw. but good idea keep em coming.

Yeah the arcade is cool. I spent hours playing on other forums. Maybe we could put some kind of game (obviously better looking) like Runescape with remastered graphics and play online.
Also it might be a good idea to have something in the shop that allows you to change the stars below your name, to other shapes like a life bar or like a load bar.

thats one reason plenty others though like no one would post info and people that arent on 24 7 will miss news. and about the arcade, it will cut down post quality and how would you feel if some lucky newb has more points and icons than you do when you have all the stars and top rank in the forums? also it takes alot of bandwith.
