ok, so i have a connection issue. i just bought the ps3 a couple weeks ago. i registered and signed up to the playstation network fine. put in my first game, assassin's creed, and it found and downloaded an update for it, no problem. now, i just bought two new games, stuntman ignition and warhawk. both have an update, but it won't connect to download. it gave me a 80710102 error. after some googling, i found a few suggestions, but none worked. so far, i've set up a static IP for the ps3 on my router, and put in primary/secondary dns addresses. when i go to test the connection now, it finds an ip address fine, internet connection...success. connect to play station network... failed. it timed out. every time. no error code/message. just timed out. some searching here didn't reveal anything that i could find. so i'm stuck. any thoughts?

thanks.

also, if someone could tell me how to register the headset that comes with warhawk, that'd be awesome. i get the blue light on the headset to come on, but when i try clicking "register bluetooth device" under the audio settings, nothing happens.

No idea about your connection issue but as far as the headset goes you will need to put it into "pairing mode". Not sure how its done on the warhawk headset but im sure the user manual will say. Once its in pairing mode do what you did above.

What type of connection are you using? (Wired, WiFi?)
