I'm sorry for making a new thread for this because I know the info is here somewhere as I have seen it myself a long time ago but I really tried to use the search function to find it and just couldn't. So , if someone could tell me how to make a Japan account or just give me the link to the thread where the directions are I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

You could have googled for this, there's nothing less than a ton a info on this, but oh well, I'm in a good mood so why not help you out a bit.

Yep, missed by a hair, edited mi original post, check the time of posts, identical, but oh well, what can one do. Cheers for the faster typing, see you around too...

Actually yes, I've had my own Japanese account since July 23d of 07 when I got my PS3, haven't used it much, only things I remember getting was echocrome demo, siren trailer, GT 5 prologue demo, etc.

No Yakuza 3? Record of Agarest War? For shame......I have a Japanese account too. Don't use it much either. Same goes for my European account as well.

Fatal Enertia EX just came out on the Japan store. Its pretty fun. I got the demo.

I created an account in Honk Kong like the diections suggested and I don't think it's the same as the Japan store. I don't See Fatal Inertia which is the main reason I wanted the account. Does the region HAVE to be Japan?

I sincerely had no idea Yakuza 3 and Record of Agarest War were already there. I guess it's because I don't really follow udpates on the jap store, I do a bit on the euro store, but only because it's posted on the main page here on psu, guess I'll take a look.

Most are, but some come in English like the Fatal Enertia EX demo

I'm trying again to make a Japan account instead of a Honk Kong one but all the writing is in Japanese. How do you make one if you can't read Japanese?

You can't, the signup process is in Japanese

You could try googling for a step by step guide to making a jap account, or you could try making an account on another (english) region and write down the fields in each step or memorize them and then try making the jap account. Fields are the same, just in japanese.
