I have an older plasma tv with only one HDMI input. Currently my cable box is connected to the tv through this input. Can someone give me a suggestion how I connect through HDMI? I would rather go HDMI than component, S video or AV. Thanks for the help.

Buy a reciver, i think that is the best way and you will recieve a good signal. Most New recivers have 2-3 HDMI inputs, Just plug your ps3 hdmi and cable hdmi to the reciver, and the one HDMi cable from the reciver to the TV will do the rest.

Preferable option is a a receiver and using it as a switch as mentioned by Scorpion.
An alternative is an HDMI switch. You can get them relatively cheaply through Monoprice.com I've got a 4 port switch that paid $40 from them back in November '07.

Thanks very much for the replies. I have a Motorola STB that only has one DVI output (no HDMI) Mediacom. I will have to go with the switch. I, again, appreciate the info.
