so i was on the internet using my ps3 and i recived a message from my mate i thought id have to go out of the web and look at the message and reply! but i pressed the PS button whilst i was on the internet and the XMB came up with the web page kinda shaddy in the background!! :shock: and i could see the message and reply to him them all i did was press the PS button again and it went back to the web page?! strange or just normal ? im not to sure blooby good thou saves alot of time going in and out of the web;) your thoughts pls

It took me a while,I was quitting the browser to reply, then one day I figured it out by accident.

This is normal and could be done from the beginning, you can even play music when browsing! just hit the ps button and select your music lybrary or playlist. Streaming music is also possible when browsing the internet.

Not only can you listen to music while you browse the web, you can play music as background to slideshows of your photos. This keeps the wifey occupied for hours.....

Been there for some time... Same deal with watching DivX movies, press the PS button and you'll get the XMB in the background.

In movie XMB confirmed! :p

Yeh its a cool addition but you cant view pictures for some reason, even though you can play music, however.. you can see the thumbnail icon of it though :D

its like with the brightness level on themes/backdrops, it took me ages to see it, i used to be so annoyed at themes which where too bright...

until...one day when i saw the brightness level INSIDE Theme settings UNDER picture/ :D

exellent stuff, i use +3 normally , works great with nearly all themes, and for the completly white ones i use +5 :D
