make sure you dont have the green and blue mixed up, ive done that before.
plus it shouldnt be on AV if you are using component.
AV usually refers to composite

AV=composite
Blue,Green etc=component.

Are you sure you got your cables right here boss? Give us some more details and we can help you out. What exactly did you plug into the composite slots?

It seems like you're inserting your component in the wrong socket.

Make sure you are inserting it in the correct color socket.

You should get an HDMI cable (if your HDTV supports it) from monoprice.com. Any 6 ft cable will be fine, they cost under $10 with shipping included.

Ya, sound like you have the audio in the right holes but you got the video in the wrong ones, either wrong AV slot or the colors mixed up.

Can you get us a pic of the hookups?

Yup, spread the word about monoprice.com No need to spend more than $10 on a 6 ft cable. I only needed 3ft and paid $2.40. Of course you gotta pay for shipping but it's still a heck of a deal.

:lol: no problem man. I got this info from someone else and ever since I've been preaching it to everyone who, it seems to me, may need it.

So here's what I say, next time you think someone needs one? Or just bought a HDTV with their PS3/360, let them know about this! Best of all, this company ships quick!

For the price/quality/shipping under $10, they deserve free publicity from me.

plug your ps3 in using the red/white/yellow composite cables, go to your settings--> display turn on all the resolutions and set it to componant(usually named yb pr something, it should show a pic of 6 connectors including a blue and green). Once you switch that turn off your ps3 plug in the componant cables, and it should work.

Make sure the tv is switched to the "av3" channel or w/e. You might just be looking on the wrong input channel if it is blue.
