View Full Version : transferring photos HELP! - ive tried everything

I am having a hell of a time transferring photos to my ps3. I have used a USB drive, with FAT32 format, and it still doesn't work. ive also pressed triangle and clicked show all...nothing came up....pressed triangle and did copy...nothing came up...it keeps saying "there are no titles" when i go to triangle button. i even got tversity and put the pictures on it...still doesnt work. waht the hell is going on? please help me out i'd appreciate it a lot

ive also put the pics in every format i could think of..jpg, bmp, jpeg

I just put my pics onto a flash drive and they came up fine

I streamed mine via wireless.
I hate problems like this, obviously my reply isn't helpful but I feel for ya! I am having problems with an external drive still!!!

im not sure what might be wrong with your flash drive....you could try this however....

i've been using this little program to send large (8GB+) files to my PS3...it works GREAT....you run the program....drag the folder you want to share....then it gives you an HTTP address....you open up the browser on the PS3, type in the address given and download all the files....just make sure you close the program when you're done....

thanks for the help...i finally got it to work. i kept refreshing the lists and eventually the pics popped up. see ya

I know this sounds stupid, but when a device like that isn't recognized the best thing to do is pull it out and put it back in. Most often the device isn't seen because it hasn't been pushed in far enough to the USB port. Again, I know it sounds dumb, but I'm an IT professional with over 15 years of working experience with this stuff and I still make that mistake occasionally MYSELF, so check it and believe me I'm not trying to be a smart ***** or talk down to you. :)
